### ***** "Do yourself a favor and get this."
I’m puzzled there aren’t more people using this, as it’s feeling like a no-brainer. I saw a passing reference to this on Reddit and figured I’d give it a try because I need to be able to work from my iPad, so bought this. It worked flawlessly on iOS, and when I got my laptop bag, I decided to get the MacOS version - which is FREE. I found it did everything I needed and more, and I liked the minimalist interface (which you can add a bunch of cool features too through optional plugins). I also appreciate that the developer is reachable and happy to answer questions via email. A few caveats: I haven’t had to do any production-related work, so not sure how fully featured it is on that front. Also, this was my first attempt working in Fountain, so it’s a little bit of a shift, but the tutorial and documentation makes it pretty straightforward, and the app itself has been built to make this a pretty painless transition. But otherwise, kudos to the developer - I think this is an outstanding app, as is the MacOS version, and I don’t see myself going back to Final Draft unless I absolutely, desperately must.

### ***** "the ONLY app you should use for screenwriting on mobile"
I stumbled across this app based on a small comment on a Reddit post where the creator of this app explains how beat can be used on mobile to edit files created in the industry standard screenwriting apps such as Fade In.

Having tried all the screenwriting apps on iOS, this is THE ONLY solution that reliable works. 

It’s really clever to use “file over app” where any files saved in this can be read in other screenwriting apps, and any file written in another app can be imported into this super easily. 

Finally it’s open source and it’s crazy cheap! Thank you to the author. I’d also suggest putting screenwriting in the title as when I searched “beat screenwriting” it didn’t come up!

I was looking for a screenwriting app I could use with the Magic Keyboard that wasn’t going to try and charge me a subscription to use. Beat is just as fully featured as some really expensive software I’ve used in the past and the developer seems incredibly devoted to the quality of it!

### ****- "The best now on iOS"
Thankyou so much for releasing this! Beat is superb, and constantly-improved on MacOS, it’s wonderful to be able to use it on the go now. Such reasonable pricing for an app which I consider far beyond Final Draft, Slugline etc… It’s not perfect yet, but it’s already the most useable screenwriting app I’ve tried on a phone. Improvements needed… index cards can’t be moved (surely that’s the point of them?) and it would be nice to have an arrow to hide the keyboard instead of reaching for ‘done’. Given how quick and amazing the developer is, I’m sure these will be solved. Couldn’t recommend this app enough.

I've been using the desktop app for quite some time, can't reccomend it enough to any writers I meet. Just downloaded the mobile app today. Thank you for making something beautifully simple, can get straight to writing, 9MB, and no bothersome setups.

### ***** "Feel The (beat), Your Plots Compete…"
.. this’s an App of the very finest quality. I can honestly say a number of things to convince you to buy/add this to your App Library:

1. It is, without any doubts, whatsoever; far, far better than any and all other apps of this nature (Script Writing) in the App Store.

2. It is priced so ‘utterly, completely’ competitively it’s difficult to countenance why any writer would not simply splash the cash to the tune of £10.00 ‘sight unseen’, it’s a bargain - thrice-fold!

There are apps that are ten, twenty or more times the amount this costs that do not provide you with the sheer quality, simplicity and utility in every aspect you can have a prime need for. It’s a 1.0 App.

There are a number of functions, capabilities and trimmings that are not yet there, but, they will be in the near future. I’m quite sure the developer is open to hearing all the treats we’d like to see.

3. It’s for ALL Writers of all TYPES! Oh YES! Now, that is another fantastic reason to drop a tenner on this digital delight. There are good instructions and online user information on how to use it.

My POV: Thank you very much, indeed to the developer for making my month with this treasure.

Honestly: push that ‘Buy’ button, now.
