Beeper

I love the idea, but at the moment almost nothing works correctly. The bridges are randomly disconnected, some messages are going through but a solid 30% of them is missing (both directions), sending media maybe works once every 10 times.

Everything works fine it’s great, they just really should work on the design and responsibility because right now the user experience is like on Viber from 2011 but 13 years have passed since then. So that’s a con. But a huge pro is that it really helps quit from social media platforms. Keep it up!!! ❤️

Beeper made me messaging people way easier and cleaner, more organised and unified. However, in my opinion there’s two things holding back beeper to become the ultimate messenger app: 1.) Unified contacts and chat: This is an idea that many people might have and want in beeper, which would make chats more organised: being able to unify different platforms’ chats of the same person into a singular chat room, where you can receive messages from a person’s all platforms and can also send messages to them in one chat. This would make it so you won’t have one person three times in your contacts. 2.) Voice and video calls: This would make beeper obviously an outstanding messenger app in the world and make our lives much easier. Of course I suspect this might be an impossible task to do so it’s understandable if it’s not coming. Beeper developers, keep up the amazing work!!! ✨💯

This is an amazing app that’s very well designed. However, it does’t incorporate WeChat nor Skype, probably for proprietary issues. If it did, I’d give it five stars.

Just because you got beaten by the big bad wolf doesn’t mean those of us who still use apple products should suffer and yet the iOS app still lags significantly behind other platforms when it comes to features. The fact that I can search contact and chat names but not within the chat itself is ridiculous.

I really like the app so far but I’m deleting! Why? I’ll download back when this features are implemented! I want to the app to give user a choice to use multiple WhatsApp account, telegram account, or whatever app I wanna use. I need to be able to login my several account all in BEEPER, So give users the option of adding multiple accounts of their choice. Better theme choice !! It’s so basic so far.

if you’re trying to use social media less but still want to keep in touch with people in your DMs this is perfect. Yeah it’s bare-bones but that’s kinda the point… it could be a little faster and more optimized, but i’m sure it’s gonna get better over time.

So far this app has been pretty functional. A few fixes would make this app perfect. First is when you view a video in landscape it doesn’t show the video full screen. It still shows the chat list. Second is the really bad icon on iOS. It really makes my Home Screen look ugly and sticks out like a sore thumb.

I’ve been wanting to disconnect from social media for a long time but struggled to do so since I have so many group chats that are solely on Instagram or Facebook Messenger. Beeper has allowed me to delete the apps while still participating in group chats with the ability to watch videos and see shared images directly in the chats so I don’t get sucked down social media rabbit holes, wasting hours of my day.

The network connections options is not available or it’s missing on iOS app. How do I add more network connections?
