What should be a great app is spoilt by poor support. Multiple emails to the support email have simply remained unanswered a week later. It is unacceptable to eagerly accept subscriptions but then fail to provide support.

This has to be the most expensive useless app on the market. I subscribed to the trial and couldn’t watch any of the promised so-called concerts. I thought may be I needed to pay, which I did, still no images. Of all the music and video apps we now have, why would sane people be advertising this useless app? I’ve just wasted my money. I needed to give a zero rating of this, but even this seems impossible to do. Please apple, remove this thing from your Apple TV. It’s an embarrassment.

I watch many high quality musical performances on Youtube with my Apple TV on a daily basis. This encouraged me to take the plunge and buy a yearly ticket for the Digital Concert Hall. This was a big mistake. It simply does not work with my Apple TV. The music starts, but no video image, except on very rare occasions. This is a great disappointment and a frustration!

Have not been able to watch anything in a week! It feels like I have a 1Mb/s line, not the 100Mb/s I really have. Audio stops and starts, video freezes, impossible!

For new users this app is a nightmare! I have been given a ticket as a present. I. have a slow internet connection so will be dependent upon downloads. While familiarizing myself with the app I wanted to access the free concert but there is no way to download it. The help is difficult to access from certain screens leading to a frustrating search It is not easy to adjust the quality of the video. It is not offered when pressing settings which is crazy.

Finally, the BPO released a dedicated app to view concerts in the Digital Concert Hall. It is also possible to download individual pieces from concerts for offline viewing which comes in VERY handy for us in SA with poor and inconsistent internet speeds. Still, the Concert Archive is a bit clumsy and does not give the nice and easy overview that I've become accustomed to on the full web version. Even with offline (downloaded) concerts there is the odd image distortion problem and the image quality is not perfectly consistent. Still, this app is must-have and the minor problems I can certainly live with for now!

Inzwischen bin ich seit rund 7 Jahren Abonnentin der Digital Concert Hall, die ich von Anfang an per App übers IPad genutzt habe. Die User Experience und die Stabilität der App sind in dem Zeitraum immer besser geworden. Gelegentlich gibt es noch kurze Aussetzer bei Livestreams, aber auch die sind schon seltener geworden. Die Inhalte der Digital Concert Hall sind für mich als Klassikfan und Fan der Berliner Philharmoniker sowieso ein unglaublicher Schatz. FAZIT: Ich bin begeistert und habe die Digital Concert Hall incl. App schon mehrfach weiterempfohlen.

Ein großer Dank an die superben Toningenieure und Klangzauberer im Tonstudio, die die Life Aufnahmen perfekt in alle Welt schicken. Welch ein Genuss.

Leider stürzt die App app. Tja, ob das an meinem Telefon liegt oder am Internet. Leider kommt heute kein Genuss zustande.
