Beyond Type 1 Diabetes

This app, although a bit congested and clunky, is a great platform for type 1 diabetics to connect with one another, allowing a mutual Sharing of the diabetes experience including treatment platforms, diets, and the emotional roller coasters we all go on from day to day.

Only had this app for a few days and have found myself checking it all the time! It's like Facebook but for diabetics. Really helpful and comforting to be able to post, share and interact with people who know what you are going through - also great to get advice. Would definitely recommend this to anyone that can relate to diabetes whether your a mother of a diabetic, partner, type 2 etc. just need to get the word out there more so more people join!

Great app for diabetics, just like Instagram but for Diabetes related subjects

I signed out of it now I can't log back in. There needs to be a log in button. I can't find the link anywhere and I don't get the mail.😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

What can I say! This app is one of a kind. Living with diabetes is tough. It’s often a disease of isolation and frustration. The Beyond Type 1 organisation has created an app for anyone living with Type 1 Diabetes to get support, feel connected and get inspired. In the first few days of finding the app I’ve connected with so many people around the world. No matter whats going on with me or anyone of us I am seeing and sensing I’m not alone. For me this app goes one step beyond Facebook, staying positive and fostering meaningful connections. Congratulations Beyond Type 1 for making such a huge difference to so many of us. You Rock!

I just downloaded this app which I thought was for anyone but it’s telling me I have to request access and wait for approval? Is this the normal process of signing up for this app?

The concept for this app is nice, but it is a little hard to navigate when compared to other social media apps. Also, it has problem importing content from hyperlinks/URL’s like YouTube.com.

This is a fun safe place to share your type 1 struggles and realize that your not alone. Cheers to Beyond Type 1!
