The entire app is locked behind a paywall and it doesn’t even track bird weight as far as I can tell and that was they main reason I wanted a bird app was to track their weight.

I keep trying to delete this app off of my subscriptions but it won’t. I don’t want to keep getting charged for an app I don’t even have on my phone anymore

I don’t usually pay for apps, but the price, in comparison to the value of information I can store and access, was more than a bargain. I absolutely love this app, and the caring attention given to any issues. I intend to promote this app to my customers, once I have all my data completely filled out. I know they will love the ability to share bird profile files, and be able to build pedigrees for the birds they buy from me. Thanks so much!

Designer is extremely responsive to user feedback and makes mods suggested by users to meet needs of different species and programs. I’ve never owned an app where content evolves and improves like this app does based on my personal needs. I saw a review that gave a horrible rating because they had to pay. What? Seriously?! No one just sits around creating fantastic product out of the goodness of their heart because they have all this extra time and money on their hands. This app has no pop ups or ads (which I appreciate) so, of course you have to pay for it. 🤦‍♀️ This guy has to live and pay a mortgage and eat, etc just like the rest of us. It’s a great product and worth every penny! There is also a FB group where you can communicate with the designer and other users. Check it out!

The app is great at tracking information and helping keep our breeding program organized. It’s always being updated and the developer takes suggestions seriously and try’s to work them into the app. It’s definitely an app that I feel the users needs and wants are heard and taken into consideration. Well with the lifetime subscription for the tracking of genetics!

Super useful and well-designed app. UPDATE: I particularly like that the developer is active in the FaceBook birdBreeder users group and very responsible to suggestions and the occasional glitch.

The first glitch has been, to date, more annoying than anything. I paid for a full year subscription, but it keeps reverting back to thinking that my subscription is expired. It only seems to work if I go back into settings and refresh the settings. This needs to be done a couple of times while I set up a hatch. The second glitch was noticed today and I think it likely has to do with the most recent update. I click on it to open it, it flashes like it is going to open, but then it shuts back off. I tried a restart on my phone and it still doesn’t work. So now I cannot access it at all. UPDATE: developer personally worked to fix issues with this app and save my data. Still not all that I was hoping for in this app (former Hatchabatch user and I primarily need it for tracking hatches), but the overall quantity of features is pretty amazing.

I put all my birds info on the app and not knowing I was going to have to pay for the dang thing I now can into use it without paying for a subscription that is not mentioned in the description and now I have to find another app and it is very frustrating

I love this app. Truly. I’m a visual person and being able to keep track of my birds and hatches in a way that works for me is amazing. But since this last update, the app is crashing upon startup, hoping a fix is found soon so I can continue to use and love this app!
