Need faster response time to intruder setting off camera and alerting homeowner. As it is now it seems to take about 30 to 60 seconds,that’s to long.

Need some cheap cameras that record but will never record at the right moment? Buy the blink cameras! They let you keep an eye on your preferred location but meh their 50% going to work, then 25% their having weird glitches while trying to view a camera, the other 25% the camera was inactive during whatever motion you wanted to see. It’s cheap so you get what you pay for type of thing.

J’ai acheté ce produit pour ma maison à l’extérieur du Québec autre province en pensant que c’était pour faire un minimum de protection!!!! Je vous annonce en primeur que c’est un très très bon système de caméra et ils en fait plus que souhaité. Ils fonctionnent impeccablement bien cela fait 2 ans qui sont installés et je n’ai jamais eu de problème que ce soit bris ou mauvaise connexion internet ect…. Je le conseil comme achat dans le numéro 1 !!!!! Merci Stephane

So I recently purchased this doorbell during the pre-prime day deals. The price was reasonable during the sale otherwise not so much and here’s why. Well it does come with the sync 2 module to save offline clips. The whole blink ecosystem is heavily locked down. Well it does have the ability to be used with Alexa it does NOT have proper support for Home Assistant so you cannot view live feeds or record outside of the sync2 module or cloud. This device does NOT support onvif or external streams. Does NOT support micro SD on camera. Using home assistant outside of it’s supported use to avoid the sync2 module or cloud WILL ban your account. Turning your purchase into a paper weight. Wifi compatibility is terrible. Does NOT support WPA2 AES or WPA3! It only supports 2.4ghz in legacy mode b/g/n and does not support AX despite it being backwards compatible. The poor security over wifi using TKIP IS a Security Vulnerability! If your firewall blocks blink services or ip addresses from India good luck setting up your cameras or sync module because you can’t until you whitelist.*No idea why India that’s just where the ASN/IP’s GEO pointed. Videos don’t have time stamps watermarked which is disappointing. If this company ever stops support your camera will become a paper weight! I’ve enjoyed more features from the sketchy Chinese doorbells, at least I can disconnect them from the internet, and use WPA2 AES, and use onvif to bridge live feeds into a nice display of all my third party cameras except this one. If you don’t use Alexa as a chime speaker or have a old chime system or a blink indoor camera, it won’t pair to a generic Bluetooth chime speaker. So you might have trouble hearing the door bell if you don’t have a phone. The mounting of the doorbell has plastic clips that could break in Canadian cold weather and is not locked with a security screw so it could be much easier to rip from the wall. Maybe buy a third party mount to prevent theft or destruction of the camera. When setting up wired mount it forces the use of chime and does not give any indication of it the wired chime system charges the battery. Battery does not have a percentage so it’s a guessing game when it will die. If you have the wired chime setup with a plug instead of a chime it might damage the unit or plug I’m not sure. Buy literally anything else until they are more friendly to offline users. AND improve their wifi compatibility AND security.

I'm computer savvy but I have never have never had such a difficult time setting a system up. Spent two hours with tech support only to realize they know less than me. My issue is the sync module, it absolutely refuses to work. I've hard reset it, soft reset it but it refuses to sync. My next step is to return it.
