This is the only reading app that you can get dark enough to read in the dark. And the only one the that you can adjust by swiping without having to go to settings. Changing the font size works well too. Sometimes the app doesn’t remember how far you’ve actually read, but maybe that’s because I like to switch wifi off for the night. Best reading app by far.

Kirjaimien kokoa ei pysty kunnolla muuttamaan, ja se pitää muuttaa joka sivulla erikseen. Ennen valintamahdollisuus oli olemassa. Sivut hyppivät helposti pari sivua taaksepäin sivun kääntämisen yhteydessä mikä on ärsyttävää.

Uusi versio ja yötila ei enää toimi. Tilalle tullut sinänsä hyvä ominaisuus, eli ylläpidettävät teemat. Valitettavasti tekstin väriä ei iPad Air version 3 laitteella voi muuttaa, se on aina musta. Perheen toisessa iPadissa se ominaisuus taas toimii.

Syystä tai toisesta kirjan lataaminen ei tahdo onnistua.

After the iOS 12 updates, the app no longer works properly. It loads slowly, feels unresponsive, and seach function works no more. Developer say rebooting helps. It does, but only temporarily. One needs to keep rebooting constantly. The app clearly needs an update.

Kun uusii lainan, tilaa ”uuden kirjan”, joutuu itse etsimään kohdan johon edellisessä lainassa jäi. Aiemmin sovellus siirsi minut automaattisesti oikealle sivulle. Saattaa johtua laitteeni ikääntymisestäkin kuten sekin että ohjelma menee toisinaan jumiin.
