I have been using Bolt around the world and it’s generally been a good experience. However, I have been noticing that the time to get the ride almost always increases, once the request is placed. It can be 2-3 times, sometimes even 5 times or more. This to me looks like an anticompetitive practise.

To start with - I am 20 years old. Decided to try the bolt scooters in order to get home this evening and even bought a day-pass. When I tried to start riding it said that “You must be 18 years old” - and I get that. But there is no option to verify my age and also I cant contact the Support team. Fix your god damn app and please compensate me

Before riding check if you’re in the parking zones as I got the scooter from a blvd. expecting I’m in the central area and would be able to park in front my home like other services, which was wrong and had to go back and return it from the original spot almost and still walk home

It would be nice to know the end of the zone before renting a scooter.

The taxis are so cheap, compared to others and it’s always on time and fast

I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Bold and their ride service. I requested a ride and ended up wasting almost an hour due to driver cancellations and an unhelpful support team. The first driver kept me waiting for 15 minutes, only to get stuck in a traffic jam 100 meters away from me. Since my location was shared, I started heading in his direction to make it easier for him—but he canceled the ride without any explanation. Then, the system automatically started looking for other drivers, but several of them canceled as well. The next driver who accepted took over 20 minutes to arrive. I watched as we got closer and closer on the app, so to save time, I moved towards him. He was just 10 meters away, and I was ready to call out his name—but suddenly, he canceled the ride and drove off in another direction. The last driver took another 15 minutes, and I only managed to get picked up because I physically stopped his car on the road. He didn’t even realize I was his passenger because he wasn’t checking my location. To make matters worse, customer support was absolutely useless. They claimed that, according to their system, no driver canceled my ride and that everything was “smooth.” I tried reaching out multiple times, only to receive the same generic response from different agents—they couldn’t find anything and offered no solution. This experience was beyond frustrating. I lost time, patience, and trust in this service. If this is how Bold operates, I won’t be using it again.

The ride was ok until I found I was charged twice for one ride bolt support is absolutely garbage the don’t help you at all

The app withdraws more money at the beginning of the ride, and then the ride is less than waht it withrew firstly, no reimbursement no nothing, u pay some amount and not what the ride was actually

I was riding a scooter, when it turned off( I had a problem with my card ). After fixing the issue with my card I resumed the ride and continued on my way. It turns out when the scooter turned off I was in a non-park zone which I didn’t know at the moment therefore I received a 60bgn fine for leaving the scooter in a non-park zone. I tried talking to a support agent Linda, but she was super unhelpful, stating that it was my problem and I should leave scooters near bike racks next time to avoid getting fines.
