Not really as good as I expected these being my first Bose headphones. Few complaints, the app is crazy slow, the slowest app on my phone. The earbuds don’t remember my noise canceling setting between sessions? Also I hate the voice, it always seems too loud and not helpful, I don’t want it to say connected, or the battery level, can’t it just be a beep or tone? Also it pause when I remove one, I’m sure many users prefer that, but I just want it to keep playing even in one ear. These earbuds have a standby feature. In this new app there is currently no way according to the Bose Agents I contacted to disable this..so if you like to lay down and watch content or rest while listening to peaceful music with your awesome ANC its a no go. The earbuds will go in standby mode - disconnect and even shut down. The old Bose app used to allow for disabling this…not in this app. So you, the consumer, who has purchased an otherwise good product, now cannot use it as you like, only as Bose likes. This is beyond stupid and poorly designed for such an otherwise good set of buds. You will want to buy another product if being able to use your earbuds the way you want is important to you. Poor choice…there is not even any proper instruction on reset for these now in this app, as the new case does not have a reset button. And no reset feature in the app. Just incompetent….they can be reset if you go through the Bose chat app and get a decent agent who can look that “secret” up for you, but so far no luck on disabling standby…this is a big omission.
