I have a Bose SoundTouch 300, and when I connected it to the internet through the app, the soundbar started malfunctioning. The sound either didn't play at all or the volume was too low. The first time, I thought it was a problem with the soundbar and I had to pay $250 to get it fixed. The second time I connected it, I realized it was the app that was damaging the soundbar, so I had to restore the factory settings several times to fix it. The speakers are outstanding. I have absolutely no complaints about them. The app is a different story. I have a love/relationship with it: when it works well, it is great and allows me full wireless access and control over my speakers. Unfortunately, connectivity can be fickle. It is not unusual for everything to work perfectly fine for weeks at a time, and then suddenly, seemingly out of the blue, for it to drop the WiFi and/or Bluetooth connections on one or both speakers. When things are working well with the app, I always dread it when a software update occurs because that is usually when a number of new features are added, and some bugs are fixed, but also almost invariably, new bugs are likely to appear. -- Scuromondo, 2024-08-14 ### **--- "Don’t exasperate yourself!"
