I was using an another story app for a long time now even it was not perfect but it was really good and without epg and direct app launch from the remote panel etc. Today after i started to really feel a need for these features i started to download every single sony remote tv app on iStore. Final words: I saw bad apps and great apps. Great ideas with non working products as promised under app descriptions and even worse some fantasy prices. As a network engineer there is nothing as simple to type in ip from my tv manual BUT THIS APP was the only APP on iStore which asked for rights to usw local network and INSTANT came up with only 1 single possible client which was my Bravia TV including the code. Very well done, thank you for a great work with on top a fair price to remove the adds since you need to earn money as well :) Pros: Simple Setup EPG App launch as Shortcut button Add more function buttons Synchronize option Clean design Cons: Please remove „color mode“ from Pro Mode cause is not really a pro and the basic theme is the best one. Suggestion for iPhone: Can you add „line break“ when a user adds more buttons that the buttons get moved to new line instead to swipe the ui from right to left to find them? Thanks once again!

Struggles to stay connected and reconnect to TV

Dosnt connect have the time

It does not hold a connection to use at all. Constantly closing out of the app and still having same issue

Clear interface. Connectivity issues are rare. Can wake up the TV. Option to add app shortcuts. Customizable buttons. Touchpad or d-pad; I switched to touchpad and unexpectedly prefer it. Has widgets; would be nice to have a smaller widget that includes volume buttons.

I keep this app for when I can’t find the remote. Absolute time drain trying to just turn the volume up or pause a movie. The ads are worse than those mobile games that let you play for 45 seconds that blast you with a locked in 30 second ad. Just what are you doing Sony? Charging for a simple ad free remote is insane to me.
