Very difficult to use unless you click Launch the Course homepage which just launches a different interface with the other half of the features. Why can you only see Grades and Content normally?

Does it work? Yes. It works well. But I could just use my web browser, because all this app does is open a hyperlink to the D2L website.

Really it’s only good to let you know you have a notification on Brightspace. Usually it won’t even be able to load the notification as it gets stuck on a loading screen.

It’s the type of app only schools would pay someone to make and not be bothered that it isn’t functional.

Can the devs change the app back to the old way when you click into a module it would bring up the computer version landing page where you can do to different things (change courses, see different modules, be directed to class discussion boards) within the app. With the new update it only brings you to the specific module, which is great but not convenient when searching an abundance of things and you have to keep exiting cause you’re stuck on one page.

I like that this app makes it slightly easier to view D2L content on mobile. However, I have a minor request: Could the developers please update the app icon so that there is a dark mode available as per Apple’s guidelines for iOS 18? Right now, this app sticks out like a sore thumb, it doesn’t match the rest of my school-related apps. So I put Pulse on the second page to hide it, meaning I don’t use it as much. 

So if you want more users to consider this app as a part of their must-have school app repertoire, please consider allowing for a dark mode option.

I’m not sure what’s going on. I’m not sure who thought this was a good idea. However, I am sure that whoever’s idea was to remove the actual use of this app made a horrible decision. Why am I now being sent out of the app opening stuff? I can just use the web instead if the app now has no use. I loved the app so much and it used to be useful for getting notifications and alerts but now… they’re also gone? I haven’t gotten anything since the tenth yet I have notifications I am supposed to get. It’s like why make a cake if you’re not even gonna use flour to make it properly… kinda like this app now why make an app if I’m not even using anything in the app and being sent off of it? And brightspace D2L support, if you’re reading this, fix your support contact as well. I shouldn’t be here in an app review section but here I am.
