Buddy: Money & Budget Planner

The app has an amazing user interface. I’ve just started using and it seems to be very easy to use. My only concern would be that it requires to be manually updated. I would’ve preferred if I could connect my bank to the app so that my transactions will be updated automatically.

This app is really excellent and does pretty much all the budgeting tasks. The issue is that the developers never respond to any inquiry submitted via the contact us form. The Insights tab is confusing and can’t get any information on the faq or forum let alone their lack of responsiveness. Ranking it 3 star due to this problem.

The interface is clean without a lot of things to confuse you. I do think an instructional guide for budgeting could be added but overall a super nice app and would definitely recommend to others. 👍

I’ve been using this app for a couple of years now and I have noticed a significant change in my spending habits and finances. Can’t live without it now and entering my expenses each day is pretty much a habit. The “Left to spend” feature helps me reevaluate my spending and adjust accordingly, absolutely love it 😊

It takes some time to set up your budgets, but when you’re done, it’s very easy to use.

I’ve tried Mint YNAB Goodbudget and Truebill - and this is by far the best one. Definitely worth the lifetime premium. It’s the same cost as six months of You Need a Budget for unlimited premium features. I love how much control you have over the additions and set up. It really gives a clear picture of your situation. I’ve already gotten set up to get out of debt seven years early! I am very pleased with this purchase. Some might not like the manual input but it actually helps me to track my overall costs. Great for those with variable incomes and changing monthly costs. I don’t use the partner features, but it seems like an amazing feature as well. The manual aspect really allows you to do everything with your goals in mind. Highly recommend.

I don’t like that I can’t add all my bills (card)

I have been trying for a week to get two accounts to link and it appears only one will sync at a time to the budget There is sometimes a three day lag and it makes it hard to reconcile
