No other review will tell you this. Aside from decent interest rate and the features in the app, good luck ever trying use or move your money elsewhere. Its going to permanently stuck in bunq as they will flag you trying to move your money. Also, have fun trying to get through to customer service, they won’t reply.
2 years I was quoted to transfer my money out. Well done you have just ruined my financial livelihood bunq.

We live in Ireland and We have moved bank accounts 4 times over a five year period. We have been with Bank of Ireland, KBC, n26, revolut. N26 is the best of them for individual banking but unfortunately you cannot make credit card or direct debit payments directly from shared spaces with N26. Being able to have multiple bank accounts on bunq which we can use for budgeting and pre-committed spending allows us to get a clear picture of how much cash we can play with every month. So many other features, too many to mention but as a banking nerd who has used them all, I can wholeheartedly say bunq is the best of come across … by a distance. Well worth the fee

They ask for your personal information, photos of your documents such as ID and passport, make you wait for more than 12 hours and then say that your account has been closed and that you can’t be part of the “bank”... I’ve never seen an online bank like this, even more so after asking for all your documents, it smells like a scam, don’t download this app and be careful!!

Just like everyone else, everything is hidden behind a paywall. You get lured to order a physical card once you open your free savings account, but guess what? You can’t use it unless you change to the 3.99/month plan. Any decent feature they lure you in with is hidden behind yet another plan.
