Does what it says on the label. Digital key would be great and the ability to share the app across devices and users. Access to car cameras would also be a great feature. Main use is to check charge state when trickle charging at home

BYD just can’t seem to get it right! The latest app includes door locking status, but why does a door bring unlocked considered as “abnormal”…? I parked my car at home in a secure, locked garage, so car is always unlocked. Never had an issue, all my cars are kept this way. Can’t BYD simple show the status as “unblocked” rather than highlighting it as abnormal?

This app would be much more useful with a couple of extra features. Firstly if it allowed override control of charging when there is a schedule. Forcing on or off. This is especially useful for people with solar generation but with no smart charger. Secondly if it was able to be installed on two people’s phones. We aren’t all single.

Hi BYD team It’s annoying to enter password every time when you want to do something. Why don’t you do the same as tesla and put a password on the screen instead. If you open with the app or use facial recognition. I am happy with the way you are progressing. Hence 5 star

I am thinking of buying a BYD but I am discouraged but what I am reading in the reviews. For a vehicle where software is integral to its operation I expect to see good user reviews.

Reliably works. The features available are very handy, but it would be great to have more controls and access, for example, to the cameras to check on the car remotely, or a sentry mode. I appreciate some people might be paranoid about said options, but they can keep them disabled, if they so choose. To the person who needs to login each time: try turning off biometric, with auto login enabled, or for remote control verification, ‘once only’ enabled instead of ‘every time’.

Why BYD? Why?

I have to re enter my password every time I use the app. I have the auto login / Face ID settings activated but still need to input my password every single time I use the app. BYD doesn’t really care about you once they have your money. The latest update only made the app worse for me

What is the point of offering FaceId login when the app forgets the login details just about every 14 days. So frustrating. Get the Tesla people to help you I’d you can’t write a usable app.
