It seemed like nobody was reading the same books as me, so I tried out Goodreads. That app is just plain awful, so I thought the concept of online book clubs wouldn’t work, until I found Byzans! It has been so much fun to chat with people about our favorite scenes/characters and discuss lore and theories from our favorite books. Plus, the developers are adding new features all the time, I’m so excited for book ratings and reviews. Really appreciate that someone took this ‘sweet’ concept and developed an App around it. Because oftentimes we do connect with someone out there who expresses an interest in a read at the same time we do, but we are not physically in the same place ... so where... how to discuss it. Byzans offers us a way to do that and it’s pretty darn ‘user friendly’. Some things I would like to see: 1. might there be a bit easier way to find one’s most recently read books (scrolling on a mobile is no fun , especially the more books one enters). Maybe at some point one might have an option to arrange by date read rather than alphabetical. 2.
