Cage & Aviary Birds is the world’s only weekly newspaper for birdkeepers. Written by bird experts for bird fans, it is packed with news, advice and comment from the avicultural scene. An essential resource for members of bird clubs and societies, it also offers an unrivalled marketplace for sellers and buyers of birds and all bird-related products, both in the British Isles and around the world.
As a weekly, it’s a uniquely comprehensive and topical source of news on all subjects that affect the birdkeeper: from legal changes and government consultations, through zoo and bird-park events, scientific research and business news, to the achievements of personalities in the hobby, as well as clubs and their members.
While it’s first and foremost a newspaper, each issue also offers a wealth of practical advice and tips from the top names in the bird world, plus opinion, controversy, species and hobbyist profiles, humour and nostalgia. Bargain-hunters eagerly await their copy to scan its paid and free adverts, and it is quite simply The Bible for show reports, club news and events.
Since 1902, Cage & Aviary Birds has consistently been the first-choice publication for keen birdkeepers, whether experienced or new to the hobby.

Paid for app downloads include one issue of the user’s choice. Free app downloads do not include a free issue unless otherwise stated. Within the app users can also purchase the current issue and back issues.
Subscriptions are also available within the application. A subscription will start from the latest regular issue at the time of purchase.
-The subscription will renew automatically unless cancelled more than 24 hours before the end of the current period. You will be charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period, for the same duration and at the current subscription rate for the product.
-You may turn off the auto-renewal of subscriptions through your Account Settings, however you are not able to cancel the current subscription during its active period.
-Payment will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase and any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when a subscription to that publication is purchased.
-If a subscription offers a free trial, at the end of the trial period, you will be charged the full price of the subscription. You may cancel a subscription during its free trial period via the subscription settings on your iTunes account. This must be done 24 hours before the end of the subscription period to avoid being charged.
Users can register for/ login to a pocketmags account in-app. This will protect their issues in the case of a lost device and allow browsing of purchases on multiple platforms. Existing pocketmags users can retrieve their purchases by logging into their account.
We recommend loading the app for the first time in a wi-fi area so that all issue data is retrieved.
If your app will not load past the splash page after a first install or an update, please delete and reinstall the app from the App Store

An excellent publication that keeps me up to date.
Crashing on the iPhone
For some reason this will no longer work on my iPhone 5 running the latest software, it works on my iPad fine so it's not a major problem but sometimes when I'm out and all I have on me is my phone I'd like to be able to read it seeing as I have paid for my subscription. Deleting it and re-installing it doesn't work either so I welcome any ideas??
