HOW IT WORKS:
1. Enable Call Ranger in iOS Settings: Phone → Call Blocking & Identification
2. Enable Call Ranger in iOS Settings → Messages → Text Message Filter
3. Tap the "i" button next to a missed call → "Share Contact" → "Block similar numbers" → Select how many digits to block (up to 12-digits!) and you're all set!

Saw a recommendation online thru Reddit for this app to block area codes. Tried it and put in multiple numbers , anything more then 4 filters seems to have super slow loading and take minutes to calculate the rules or whatever and then I still received calls from the numbers that were supposed to be filtered so doesn’t even work correctly.

Great app.had a question and received an easy to follow video within 12 hours that answered my question.i wanted to block an entire area code which was quick and easy to do.highly recommend this app

Still works great as ever. Perfect for me blocking area code where are most of my spam calls are coming from. Since the update there’s been no new issues. I actually have never had any issues. Tech-support is great and very understandable and Qwik. Once I got the directions. This app works fantastic. You will not be unhappy.

Hello, your app is great!
Spam calls used to disturb my meetings and finally I was able to block them without having to go number by number. I can block the automated calls that originate from the same spammer, but also has a great option to notify of a spam call and leave you the option to take the call or not.

I get at least 20 Spam texts a day so I paid for it and downloaded the app. I took a long time to enter all the phone numbers, starting with country, area code, and the first of the four remaining numbers. Still those calls are coming through. I restarted and yet still doesn’t work. Very disappointing and I want my money back I’m going to delete the app.
Also when I went to the link to send feedback or to get support it didn’t open anything.

I will admit I was a bit skeptical after seeing some of the reviews and to most of them, it’s what we call an ID-10t issue (Google it). ;) All I can say is that I used to get scam calls every single night from the same area code and prefix just with a different last 4, and those calls have completely stopped with this app.  I’m a believer.

Wanted to block certain area codes. I put 1 in there the area code followed by the number. Then I picked 256XXXXXXX, after it updated I still get calls from 256 area code. It does not work waste of money. Maybe I did it wrong but I wanted to block specific area codes from calling me.

Call Ranger for IOS works great and allows wildcards to block any combination of phone numbers, including up to 5 complete area codes.

Unfortunately, blocking is for PHONE CALLS only, the app does not block text messages.

If SPAMMERS are SPOOFING their CALLER ID NUMBERS and you want to block calls from a large range(s) of numbers, this is the app you need.

Call Ranger provides a refreshing online experience.  Questions sent via email are answered quickly and respectfully.

In sum… A good product, a very fair one-time price, and the customer service is fantastic.
