Almost PERFECT!
Although this is one of the best and underestimated Camera Apps for iPhones, I think it still needs work to make it THE Perfect iphone camera app. PROS: Best image quality when you can sellect JPG HIGH or HEIF HIGH... This is one of the most important feaures for any camera app, since the native apps always compress the images too much. Camera Roll with Exif Viewer Great and nice looking preview for your image with all the details you need. Great widgets! The golden hour widgets is very usefull and also the camera widgets for quick starting the right camera you need. Dual Photo/Triple Photo Very usefull feature that I haven't seen on any other app. Live RGB and RGB luminance histograms Very nice looking smooth histograms. Detailed camera specifications display with PDF export CONS: It crashes ver often especially when I have the histogram enabled. Gesture Controls need to be adjusted so they are a little ‘slower’. Currently for example swiping just one mm on the screen changes the exposure for 0,1 stops. Sometimes adjusting the exposure up or down for 0.1 to 0.3 stops can make a huge difference in the result. I have found myself adjusting the exposure too far when I quickly want to adjust it, or i need to spend more time to fine tune it. So in my experience i think the swiping distance should be increased (x2 or x3) so we will need to swipe a little more to change the exposure. The scale currently goes from +6 to -6 which is quite large range that I think nobody uses. Usually everybody will over or underexpose for up to 3 stops and not more. Depth mode is not bad but somehow the native camera app on the iPhone provides better, smoother and more realistic results from any other cam I have tested. I like that the app saves the edited depth image as a separate file. (bug) I have noticed that sometimes when I am adjusting the apperature for a depth image the preview is not changing but when i save the image the change is visible. Focus Peaking and 4x Magnifier Loupe Focus peaking works great but I think that the color should be changed to RED or Green. This light blue sometimes is not clearly visible on outdoor light images. The 4x Magnifier Loupe is great idea and very usfull but the loupe shows very low resolution image so its not very helpful for precisely adjusting the focus especially for macro shots. Volume Buttons cant be used to take an image. Not sure why, almost every other camera have this feature that is very usefull. End even better if it can
