Fantastic app that I loved making edits with and just deleted after I went in today and found that, of their huge list of clip transition features, now only a precious 4 are available for free, and all while still bombarding me with ads. There’s a difference between wanting the app to make income and selling out. This is the later. I’ll go back to Picsart of all things before I give y’all anymore of my time 🤷
I love CapCut but now there are pro features. My friends are moving to alight motion bc of it. Please remove this issue so my friends will come back to CapCut. Overall rating 4 bc of it (MAKE BACKROUND NON-PRO IM A YOUTUBER)
You have to pay for almost EVERYTHING.
This used to be a good app. It used to be great, but now everything is pro. Easy free features are hard to find, and little things like slow motion are even pro now. If the app is struggling financially, then that’s a problem, but making everything pro is not going to make you more money, just make people use alternatives that are free. If your money is dropping, the solution isn’t to make everything pro, or more people will leave. Used to be a great app. Disappointed.

There is wayyy to much pro things, you can barely use any of the features at all unless you get pro, please make less things pro. And don’t be money hungry

Very greedy
If you’re new, you probably wouldn’t understand. When I first started using CapCut, nothing was pro. Pro didn’t even exist. Then some things and now? Pretty much everything. I look back at my old edits and even they look better because I cant do shi anymore without being told ‘yoU doN’T hAvE pRo! SIGN UP NOW.’ I know it’s because capcut needs money but I think this feature has just ruined it for me. Edit: after looking at other reviews it’s safe to say you’re losing more than you gain. 2 of my friends have switched video editing apps because of this frustrating addition to what was previously a great (maybe the best) editing app and now you have to pay for everything you use. I’m dissapointed. P.S. I would buy pro but I’m broke af and I might consider quitting too.
