La Oración Centrante es un método de oración en silencio que nos prepara para recibir el don de la oración contemplativa, en la que experimentamos la presencia de Dios en nuestro interior, más cerca que la respiración, más cerca que el pensamiento, más cerca que la conciencia misma. Este método de oración es tanto una relación con Dios como una disciplina para hacer crecer esa relación. La oración Centrante no está destinada a reemplazar otras formas de oración, sino que les aporta una nueva luz y un sentido más profundo. La Oración Centrante es un antiguo método de oración cristiana que ha sido adaptado a nuestro tiempo por los Padres Thomas Keating, William Meninger y Basil Pennington.
La aplicación de la Oración Centrante es un apoyo a nuestro compromiso con la práctica diaria de oración. La aplicación, atractiva y tranquilizante, incluye un timer, así como diferentes opciones que pueden preceder o seguir al tiempo dedicado a la oración en silencio, Una combinación de sonidos y música de fondo permite personalizar la apertura y el cierre

Es de gran apoyo para la oración contemplativa, meditación

Simple

La app es muy útil. Es sencilla y ayuda hacer Oración Centrante. Habria que lograr que mientras la app esta activada no ingresen llamados o mensajes.

Comentariosme gustaría poder incorporar textos bíblicos y lecturas

Sería útil agregar un campo en la app para que quien use la aplicación pueda agregar otras oraciones o textos bíblicos de su agrado, así como poder subir otros sonidos

Desde el año 2000 vengo siguiendo a al santo thomas Keating ahora viviendo el dia sin fin alegremente. Este programa me parece muy bueno especialmente xq recuerda la actitud interior y los tiempos con aperturas y cierre musicales. También me gusta la invocación al Espiiritu Santo , las oraciones etcétera . Realmente estoy agradecido por el trabajo que han hecho. Gloria a Dios por todo esto y sus beneficios . He had so much wisdom to offer. His teachings are a blessing straight from heaven. The app is good but I needed to hear and understand more about centering prayer in order to fully benefit from this practice. Again, so grateful for the free teachings recorded of him that are online.

This beautiful, simple, easy to use app does just what you want it to. There are a few important personalization options and then, it just works. Love it!

Absolutely Indispensable

I’ve used this app since it came out. I really enjoy how customizable it is, including the colors for each season, the scripture verses in themes, and the variation of different sounds. As a psychotherapist and spiritual Director I’m always working with people who I introduce to CenteringPrayer. The app is one of the first things I direct them to since it includes the four guidelines and it’s so easy to use.

Extra good for ADHDers

I have trouble organizing and remembering and centering prayer centers me. I love Thomas Keating’s prayers, and all the music. The prayers at beginning and end are Beauuuuuutifuulllllllllll !
