I wanted to watch the West Wing and so was pleased to find it was on the Channel 4 app.  I expected ads as Channel 4 is not running a charity.  The quantity of ad breaks and the length of each one was so overwhelming as to make the app unusable.  I would rather pay to download the series than use this again.

Dear developers, please look at BBC iPlayer and try really hard to make your player as reliable and functional as that class leader.

This app is being run by scammers!!

I had zero issues with using the app on both my phone and my smart tv whilst I had the free version. The moment I subscribed to remove the adverts, anything I try to watch on my smart tv I get an error message 4102-RENDER-DECODE followed by try again later. If I’m lucky I’ll be able to watch 1 episode of whatever I’m wanting to watch.

There’s a 50/50 chance that I’ll get the same error message when I’m watching on my phone. This wasn’t an issue initially as I could use airplay between my phone and tv but the app has suddenly decided that this is impossible. I was literally able to do this yesterday.

Perhaps it is some user’s hardware or internet connections, but my experience is first class, fast loading, no adverts, because I pay the extra fee.and everything I need is available. Better than Now, which stalls for the early 10 minutes, Prime which is now showing ads and Disney+ which has too small programme icons to read.

Downloaded the app to watch one particular show.

When you start the show you get ads, you pause the show you get ads, app crashes and restart it you get ads. Worse yet, you get the same ad over and over and over again. I had endure the same Microsoft as 4 times in one break. Annoying. We’ll be uninstalling when watched.
