Channel 4

I wanted to watch the West Wing and so was pleased to find it was on the Channel 4 app. I expected ads as Channel 4 is not running a charity. The quantity of ad breaks and the length of each one was so overwhelming as to make the app unusable. I would rather pay to download the series than use this again.

Have to constantly turn off iPhone and TV to get through adverts!

Dear developers, please look at BBC iPlayer and try really hard to make your player as reliable and functional as that class leader. Poor menu and navigation also. Just do better please.

This app is being run by scammers!! I had zero issues with using the app on both my phone and my smart tv whilst I had the free version. The moment I subscribed to remove the adverts, anything I try to watch on my smart tv I get an error message 4102-RENDER-DECODE followed by try again later. If I’m lucky I’ll be able to watch 1 episode of whatever I’m wanting to watch. There’s a 50/50 chance that I’ll get the same error message when I’m watching on my phone. This wasn’t an issue initially as I could use airplay between my phone and tv but the app has suddenly decided that this is impossible. I was literally able to do this yesterday.

Great story and I love the way the kids are so involved.But I want to watch the previous episodes and cannot seem to find them!

Tried to reset my password multiple times as it wouldnt take the new one I created each time! Then locks me out!! How? Why?

Not working at all with Chromecast, used to be able to stream it from the phone to the Chromecast, but not anymore. The adverts work perfectly of course, but not the actual show you want to watch. Incompetent developers.

The stellar cast take on superbly the difficult subject of dementia. This film is a must see for family and friends of the sufferer. It uniquely shows the side of dementia from the sufferer’s pov V sobering. V sad. So well written

Sad to see that downloaded content on a iPhone cannot be viewed either by airplay or by a physical HDMI connection.

Great acting and a great story.
