### **--- "Disappointing Update"
I'm happy to see that you're adding quality-of-life features like the ability to log and have it remember your account. I'm hoping that it will allow me to view and pay account balances without needing to enter me details every time. However, I haven’t been able to test the new feature due to a few frustrating issues.

First, when logging in, I encountered a problem entering my password. I received an error because apparently a 32 character randomly generated password isn't strong enough because it's missing a special character. That's fine, it can be difficult to judge password strength, and I understand the need for ensuring secure passwords, but the place to do that is when signing up or changing the password, not when trying to log in. But ok fine, I went to change my password so I can try out the new features.

The next issue is that when I enter my email or my phone number in the field that says "Email address/Cell number" and try log in, I get an error saying "Invalid username". But it won't let me even try log in after entering the actual username for my account because it doesn't match the format of an email address or cell phone number.

Come on guys, did you even test this release?

I thought great, a new app to better view my accounts on COCT. But nope login takes you to browser page in the app that is not mobile friendly at all. So I’ll just carry on using the website.

Updated comment: This app seems to have entirely stopped showing the load shedding alerts rendering this app not useful. Thus the 1 star, should be zero really as loads bedding schedule is the primary use of this app for me. A real pity as it looks beautifully designed.

The app seems to be a wrapper for the desktop equivalent. When attempting to view my rates invoice for the month, the UI is unusable (made for big screen). A mobile only version of the site would make for a better user experience in the app.

Thanks for the recent update to the load-shedding tab that was a poor effort in the last release. It looks much better but is still lacking efficiency. The “My Areas” section is just way-too-out of place. The explanation text can be smaller; but also that whole block can be moved to the bottom of the screen or elsewhere. A user is not adding multiple areas everyday. Please think about the frequency in which information is requested and used by people to determine widget display order. And please bring the map back!

Please  bring back the previous dark mode version with the easy to read display in blocks that show the stages and times for each area. Saturday 21/07/23 day not accurate. App says No Loadshedding in your area and yet we just experienced load shedding (stage 4). I literally lost a bet with my wife’s EskomPush app. Now I have to cook supper. Data accuracy is key. However the timetable did mention loadshedding but it did not show on the “quick look” screen so I guess it’s a filter/sync problem.

I just updated the coct loadshedding app & it tells me that my area currently has no loadshedding when we are in the middle of loadshedding. Plus on the same page it says coct change to stage 2 the next day & further down it says coct changing to stage 2 @ 2pm. The previous app was working 100’s wtf, so many ppl in my area complaining about this new app.
