ABANDONED GAME
UPDATED Review: I originally gave this game 4 stars but I have to change this now, as the game has been abandoned by the developers. Before downgrading my review I even contacted them to see if they would update the game but I received no reply. Here are my thoughts. PROS: This used to be a very promising police game. The best aspects of the game are the car models and variety of liveries, the graphics, the driving physics and the ability to respond to random callouts. There’s also an option to play as plain clothes cops. At the moment the game has two separate modes: “careeer” (free patrol with random calls) or “crime buster” (you have to hit random cars flagged as criminals all around the map). CONS: first, the screenshots in the App Store are fake and stolen by GTAV. Secondly, the few missions available (car chase, escort, parking and roadblock) are always exactly the same, all in the same locations and with the same vehicles so there’s absolutely no variety in the gameplay and the games becomes repetitive and boring in a few minutes. Moreover it’s full of bugs - some missions are broken and some of the rewards are not working so you plough your way in the game to unlock them and then you just don’t get them at all! Awful. The game could be improved by the following : - More missions (eg car accidents, crime scenes, speed traps); - More variations of the same mission; More missions on foot; - Add police tools and weapons; - ability to stop and search any vehicle/pedestrians; - ANPR system; - possibility to explore some interiors. But I don’t think we’ll ever see an update for this game.
