CityMaps2Go Pro Offline Maps

Have been using this app for 10-ish years and still not found a better elsewhere

I use this app for everything when I’m outside! And the best part is that it had all paths in the forest 😀. If I’m lost i just check Ulmon and it shows me literally all paths available in the 🌳, and as I downloaded all maps I don’t have to worry about connection. And don’t forget that you can save all places you find in an easy way and create your own lists, and it also gives you tips and guides for everything possible 😀. Thanks to the Ulmon team to make my life “simple stupid “ 👍😀 /CJ

I’ve used this map A LOT during my travels but the app has been broken for some time now. The app won’t load the offline map without an internet connection, which is the whole purpose of the app. Also, if you search for something it will always show the same results. This app would be 5/5 app, if it wasn’t abandoned in a broken state by its developers.

Bert Hood program. Realist priceworthy. And fantastic service. Just ask for a missing map and- whoah the Map shows up in a few days.

What has happened to the app? I cannot download offline maps, it stays at 0% and nothing happens.

This used to be a good app and I have used it for years . But now it doesn’t work offline anymore and when I search for places the first answer is always Pädaste Manor (in Estonia)!

Har du den allra minsta känsla för kartor (kartläsning) så är denna app helt ovärderlig. Detta även om du reser med GPS i bil. Appen ger dig överblick, ger nyttig info (typ bensinstationer, rastställen o all annan info om platser o byggnader) och underlättar planering av resrutt.(Den snabbaste vägen är inte alltid den trevligaste.) Även en del kartor inte är helt uppdaterade så är de helt OK. Det är fantastiskt att man utan uppkoppling till nätet med dessa kartor kan ta sig runt i städer o snabbt få fram info om närmaste restaurang mm. Man kan tom säga att man på vissa orter får mer info om byggnader/platser än vad som ges i de lokala turistbroschyrerna Vad som saknas är en ikon för turistinformation / lokala infocenter.

Its not possible to use the app offline if you turn off the internet Connection to the app. This was possible for years but not work anymore on any mobile unit with city maps 2 go.

Hi, i have used this app from iPhone 4 to iPhone 11. On both phone and iPad it seems that the history is deleted. I could see that im not the only person that has this issue.

I have enjoyed CityMaps since the iPhone 4 era, accumulating lots of “saves” all over the world. Those saved locations have survived two new iPhones and numerous software updates, effectively representing my travel diary. A truly excellent app - 5 stars. However, the latest update has deleted all my saves, apparently irretrievably. No response from Ulmon.
