The 12 skills within this program can help you manage emotional distress, increase positivity, and enhance your quality of life. As you master each skill, you’re adding another tool to your mental health toolkit.

Learn by listening:
Listen to daily audio sessions that combine key lessons for better mental well-being. Delivered via hypnosis, these 15-minute sessions are a time to relax, reflect, and learn.

Learn by doing:
Reflect on the skills you are building and learn to apply them in your everyday life. Through practice you will learn to master these new approaches to reduce emotional distress,

Claria was created alongside Dr. Michael Yapko, a clinical psychologist internationally recognized for his work in advancing clinical hypnosis and outcome-focused psychotherapy. Dr. Yapko’s approach puts to work well established research that shows the addition of hypnosis to CBT raises its overall effectiveness.

Claria uses digital hypnosis-based CBT techniques and is based on established clinical guidelines: 

If you subscribe through iTunes, the credit card associated with your iTunes account will be charged at the end of the 7-day trial period, and your subscription will automatically renew every 12 months thereafter unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current payment period. If you do not cancel, your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. If you purchase a subscription during the free trial period, any unused portion of the trial period will be forfeited.

To manage your Claria subscription from iTunes:
1) On your iOS device, go to your device Settings and the ‘iTunes & App Stores’.
2) Tap on your Apple ID.
3) Tap to ‘View Apple ID’. (You may need to sign in or use Touch ID.)
4) Tap on ‘Subscriptions’.
5) Choose ‘Claria Subscription.
6) Tap ‘Cancel Subscription’.

As a therapist for more than 20 years I can say that every session in this program is gold! Hugely helpful as an adjunct to any therapy you are doing and the best option if you can't afford the time or money to do therapy. Michael Yapko is a visionary and leader in his field and this program makes it clear as to why. If you feel like you have tried everything and nothing has worked, you haven't tried this!

This is just an annoying man lecturing you. No introductions to get you to relax/ breath calmly. No soothing voice with positive messages. Just a man talking, and what he says/how he says it aggrivated me rather than helped me. Just like a grumpy old man rather than someone with empathy. I struggled to listen to the whole thing one time and never listened again.

I’m just over half way through the course and the changes in me are very noticeable. I’m feeling calmer, more confident, more self-controlled, more self-assured and even a bit exited about where I’m going. I will add however that I do the sessions every day without fail and do all the associated exercises exactly as prescribed. I don’t cut any corners because I don’t want to cheat myself. 

Michael Yapko is clearly very skilled and has clearly put many years experience and a huge amount of effort into this course to make it extremely “dense”. I have no problem with his requests to “listen to this session again tomorrow” because he’s right: you need the extra sittings for the ideas to become more automatic and you also miss stuff the first time(s) through because there is just so much in there.  

Before I subscribed to this app I read the reviews and understood the concerns about the cost. Now? I think it’s ridiculously cheap and would pay it again in a heartbeat. In fact I know when it comes time for the annual renew I won’t hesitate. I think Claria is gold. Personally I think EVERY person should do it, not just those with “mental health concerns”. The app addresses Life 101 as far I’m concerned and actually costs peanuts in the overall scheme of things. Super impressed 👍🏼.
