The most basic required video feature. It’s not there. I tried to export to iMovie. (iPad) The feature to do so isn’t there. So I exported the file and imported it into a new iMovie project which is restricted to 16:9 aspect ratio. (video was shot in portrait for socials - common.) Two massive black side panels now up each side of my video. The video made small in between. Entirely useless for socials. This is basic every day stuff Apple!! The entire Apple ecosystem won’t allow something as basic as fade to and from black, or changing aspect ratio to fit socials. As for having to hold the button down while filming, that eliminates most shooting environments. How did you become so disconnected from your audience? Beyond gimmicks, no actual thought went into this product.
