Simply the best baby monitor app!!

I bought this app three times on three different iphones. 1. Baby unit on iphone 13 mini - to keep it in baby room 2. Parent unit on iphone 13 pro - that I use to monitor 3. Parent unit on iphone 15 pro - that my wife uses to monitor. Whenever i connect to the baby unit, it connects but the signal strength bar keeps dropping completely down and gets full strength again. Whene'er this happens I'm having connecting issues making this app unusable. If the developer can help me fix this issue them I can change the review and the provided stars

I bought this app thinking I could use my Apple Watch as the parent device. NOWHERE does it say that Apple Watch is not supported as the second device. Additionally, nowhere does it say how to actually use the Apple Watch with this app uless you dig through the reviews. Very frustrating. If you are trying to use a phone and a watch together, do not buy this, it will not work. Developers, please mark clearly on your info page the limitation as I’ve seen you comment on reviews explaining it.

It would be useful if the parent side of the app only took control of the microphone while the button was pressed, if that is possible. I have experienced a couple of times that i could not use an app that required use of the microphone, while baby monitor was running. It would also be useful, if security concerns allow, for the parent side to be accessed from a webpage. I use mostly linux computers, so a webapp would be ideal.

We’ve been using this for over a year and it does the job most of the time. The sound quality and noise reduction are decent. I don’t see the point in spending $100 for a good dedicated monitor when our phones and spare iPad will do the job just as well, so I appreciate that someone has put the hard work in to create a well-designed, well-executed app for this purpose. It has some quirks, like if my wife and I have our notification settings exactly the same, I get notified much more frequently than she does. Quiet, short sounds will notify me, while it takes much louder, longer sounds to notify her. Sometimes notifications just don’t come through at all for a while. That’s a bit annoying, but nothing that can’t be managed by just leaving the app open and streaming. One star removed for unreliable notifications.

Video Functionality is superb, I would just add more screen function like learning or high contrast shape as the screen saver even if its a paid addition.

Works from Anywhere Remotely (WiFi/Cellular) & Locally No WiFi Required (Bluetooth)!!! Still The Most Amazing App!!! Worth the insanely low price!!! Works from Anywhere Remotely (WiFi/Cellular) & Locally No WiFi Required (Bluetooth)!!! Works on all my Old iDevices (iPhone 3G/3GS/4/5/6S+, iPod Touch 4/5, and iPad 1/3/Mini 2/4)(Older Devices have to use a slightly older app version than the most current version, but everything still works!!!!) No Need To Buy Anything Extra!!!! The only exception is if you want your Mac to be a Baby Monitor too then you must purchase the Mac version of this Amazing App!!! (Which is Apples fault for having 2 Completely Separate AppStores, and has nothing to do with the Developer of this awesome App) I have found the Mac version extremely helpful for watching my office area when away from my Mac and monitoring 2 Baby Monitors when I'm sitting at my Mac. Which means that I don't have another screen to look at on top of my dual screen Mac, I just move the Baby Monitor window onto my 2nd display and can work normally without needing to squeeze a physical Baby Monitor Screen on my tiny desk and then keep looking away from my work to check on my kids!!! Push Notifications are one of the best features in this App, so that even when the Parent Unit is not active the Child Unit still is and can send a notice to your Parent Unit Device about both Sound & Movement!!!! No other Baby Monitor has Push Notifications Period, let alone the ability to receive them when you might need to switch to an audio/video app on your Parent Device (iPhone, iPad, iPodTouch, Apple Watch(Watch will temporarily lose the connection when the App is interrupted on the Parent iDevice!!!))!!! Doing which will stop/kill/interrupt the active baby monitor session in the background on the Parent iDevice but thanks to the option to “Alert When Not Monitoring” your iDevice will still get Motion/Sound Push Notifications so you will never miss a beat even when you need to watch/listen to something on your Parent iDevice!!!! Unless you go and dig into the Settings App and under “Baby Monitor” you can scroll down to the “Audio Settings” and under that you should have an option to turn on “Mix Audio With Other Apps” and that should completely eliminate the problem described above, I don’t know when that became an option but I would have loved to have it from the beginning of this Apps existence but I guess it is better Later than Never!!! ;)
