Code App is a MIT-licensed desktop-class code editor for iPadOS with built-in Node.js, Python, C, C++, PHP and Java runtime.

We built it because there is nothing else on the App Store provides all these features in one app:
* A robust, high-performance text editor (Monaco Editor from Visual Studio Code)
* Autocomplete, static code analysis and other language features for Python & Java
* First class local file system support
* Extensive local language support
* SSH / FTP remote connection support (Files and terminal)
* Embedded emulated terminal
* Git Version Control
* Package manager support (pip and npm)
* Markdown, themes, server-side snippet execution and more

It’s a great IDE, But there is some issues: 
1. The Vite buid tool doesn’t support. 
2. Please add asp.net core and its modules support
3. Add more advanced Python’s libraries such as Tensolflow etc.
4. Please Update nodejs to 18 LTS.

C and python and java seems to all run. Would be nice if there were somewhere to find some basic examples on how to use these on ios.

I have no idea what is going on. But I can not seem to select any text. It just puts the word under touch in selection color, and I am unable to move the area. No way to cut copy and paste anything.

### ***** "It’s not vscode but…"
The app is very intuitive for vscode users. Depending on your needs it can be very useful. A few benefits are: 

 1. Managing files and remote connections is very easy. 
 2. It is possible to work directly on a remote server without saving locally 
3. Beautiful and intuitive, multiple dark and light themes 4. Settings are decently customisable 
5. Can execute and preview code 
6. Build in terminal

 In my case it lacks a few features that can make it a vs-code replacer: 

1. Code beautifier (on save)
2. Faster ftp connections 
3. HTML in theme colors while in php file 
4. More advanced search and replace features across files (like vscode) 

 For me its the best app so far!

This app has nothing to do with VS Code. 
Doesnt work at all. No intellisense, no code completion or anything. Also requires internet connection to create a new file. 
Don't waste your time on downloading this. 
Also the name VS Code is copyrighted and this app is not affiliated with Microsoft. This shoudln't even be on app store
