## Collabora Office Description
Collabora Office is a text editor, spreadsheet and presentation program based on LibreOffice, the world's most popular Open Source office suite — and now it's on iOS, enhancing your possibilities to work on mobile devices.

This app is in active development, feedback and bug reports are very welcome.

Supported files:

• Open Document Format (.odt, .odp, .ods, .ots, .ott, .otp)
• Microsoft Office 2007/2010/2013/2016/2019 (.docx, .pptx, .xlsx, .dotx, .xltx, .ppsx)
• Microsoft Office 97/2000/XP/2003 (.doc, .ppt, .xls, .dot, .xlt, .pps)

About the app:

Collabora Office for iOS is based on the LibreOffice code for macOS and other platforms. This, combined with a new front-end based on Collabora Online.

Will always prepend characters. If using romaji keyboard, 母国語 becomes bo母国語. With kana keyboard, it becomes ぼ母国語.

Japanese input. 

When I first input something, if I type "o" it will be displayed as "oo". Even if I type "o" on a new line, it will be displayed as "oo".

It has not been improved in the update on 12/04/2024.

I thought they wouldn't understand if I didn't write in English, so I wrote it with Apple's translation app.

When I try to make the presentation portrait and then set it to blank, the page becomes invisible. It's frustrating that I can't do that even though I want to use it.

Frequent crashes when in split view mode. Doesn’t respect angled text in a text box. Removes a lot of formatting from spreadsheets. Doesn’t support touch to paste text. Doesn’t support using space bar to move cursor around.

なぜか異常に評価が低いですが、普通に使えます。 LibreOfficeで作成した資料を書式含め、パソコンで作成したままの姿で綺麗に読める唯一のアプリなのではないかと思います。いちいち作成した資料をPDF化しなくて済むので非常に重宝しています。日本語も普通に読めますし、動作も軽いですし、タブ機能もそのまま使えるので非常に便利です。

まともに文字が入力できない。文書入力で文頭の文字が二重で入力される...
例:「あ」と打つと「ああ」と入力される

パソコンと似た操作感で、ワードとも互換があってサイコーなのに、まともに入力できないのが残念。

多数のセル内に画像を埋め込んだデータが編集後壊れました。こちらのアプリで編集したものをPCで開いたところ、何故か画像の拡大率が縦長になったり画像そのものが消えたりHTMLエクスポート時の表示が異常になったりとまともに動かないファイルになってしまいました。またこのファイルを編集するときのみ新規に画像を読み込もうとした場合の挙動がおかしくなるなど、ファイル自体が壊れたとしか考えられない状態です。結局修正は諦め新規にファイルは作り直しましたが多大な時間が失われました。大事なデータはこのアプリで編集しない事をお勧めします。

・calcで文字入力すると1文字目にその言葉の頭文字がローマ字で表示(例 tテスト)

・保存ファイルを数日後開くと読み取り専用になっており「Microsoft officeとしてファイル変更してください」と出る

・保存ファイルをicould  driveやone  driveに放り込んでもPC側に表示されない(その逆も同じ)

・本アプリを開くと真っ白で何も表示されない

というわけでアンインストールします。PCではLibre officeが不具合なく使えたので残念。

Open Office からスタートしてMacで使っていましたが、iPadでも読めないかなと。
iCloud上から引っ張って来て文字化けせずに読めました。
但し、惜しむらくは言語選択に日本語が無い？
まあ読むだけならいいんでしょうか。本当にデータ弄りたければNumbersでもPages でもコピペすればいいのでしょうし。
使い方を確認しきってないので、ひとまず星３つです。

Don’t know about the other comments saying it doesn’t work. 
For me it works just perfect. 
Was looking for a replacement to Pages and Numbers for a long time. 
This one is so much easier to use. Especially the interface on an iPad is just like a PC software with menus at the top. 
 On the iPhone there are convenient selection handles that are really useful. 
And no annoying zoom in and zoom out like in Pages !

My phone somewhat gets a bit hot when using the app but I hope it will get better with new updates. 
On the iPad everything is fine.
