Seamlessly connects to all accounts, very intuitive, ease of categorization, multiple views, uncluttered, and most importantly no intrusions of advertisements and no “suggestions” on “superior” money management or “review of portfolio” .  Why didn’t someone think of it earlier?  Even customer service is top class.

### **--- "Auto-Categorization is Garbage/No Ability to Payees"
I have never seen transaction auto-categorization perform as terribly as this. Apps I used 15 years ago did it better. There is no excuse in the age of AI. There are tons of transactions erroneously labeled as internal transfers when they are simply income or a regular purchase. I’m all for AI learning from my habits, but it doesn’t seem to know the basics.

There also doesn’t seem to be a way to rename payees so that future transactions from the same source are titled the same and have the same category. This is basic functionality that every budgeting app I’ve used has had for many years. This makes the app unusable.

And to boot, it’s also not even as beautiful as it claims to be or aligned with Apple design standards. The macOS app has clunky UX and does not inspire confidence in using it. L

I liked the ways you can find transactions and navigate through menus but at the same time there are too much data in the screen... Maybe due to size of fonts. I feel I spent a lot of time creating and assigning categories or fixing wrong automated categories than the time I spent in Monarch. I did not like the idea that I needed to chat in order to get a password reset. I think I  could give copilot a try in 2 years.

I’ve had copilot since 2021, and I’m finally canceling. Since then there have been no substantial new features, and I’m paying $96/year. In fact, the app has slowly gotten buggier over time. It’s impossible to justify spending this much money on an app that has nothing new to offer.

I’ve never been the best at budgeting. Whether it be using a spreadsheet, YNAB, or other apps it just never came to me. I found out about Copilot and how everyone swears by it so I thought, why not. Best decision I ever made! And I’m sure my fellow ADHDers know how hard it is to keep up and keep track of things especially when it comes to budgets, but this is so seamless and easy to use it makes me excited to check in on my budget. (Even though I’m typically over, but that’s a different story😜)

Looks pretty but utility is pretty low compared to other financial apps. Case in point - they show negatives in white with positive numbers! 

They need to better understand end user goals and how to enable them. Deprioritize prettiness for its own sake

### **--- "Limited transaction history and awkward navigation"
Copilot looks decent, but it only imported about three months of transaction history and there doesn’t seem to be any option to import older transactions. For an app focused on spending trends, budgeting, and analytics, that’s a pretty major limitation. I want to be able to look back at a full year or more to understand my actual spending patterns.

The UI is okay overall, but the top navigation doesn’t feel very intuitive or user friendly. It takes more effort than it should to get around and find what you need.

Good concept, but historical data access and navigation need improvement.

I’ve tried the free 30 day trials simultaneously with YNAB, Monarch, Quicken Simplifi, and Copilot, and for me Copilot stands above the rest. Especially for my style of budgeting. 

The only thing that is missing is to have your credit score displayed on the Dashboard.

I’ve had this app for 3 months and there’s only one thing I wanted it to do. I want to be able to categorize transactions automatically. This app is very very bad at that. At 3 months I still need to manually change each transaction. I canceled because it doesn’t do the most basic thing it’s supposed to do. Wave is not very good at this but 100X better than this app. I don’t understand how an app like like this is getting 5 stars ratings if the auto categorization is only 10% accurate. I wish there were a way to know if the app has improved but after I cancelled and informed the developers of the bugs that seemed to prevent all auto categorization the declined to offer me a second free trial so I can’t actually know if it works now unless I pay $30/m — as an app developer myself I’m also aware $30/m is very very expensive so maybe I’ll try to build this myself and use local LLMs and sell for a one time price.

### ***** "I like it better than Monarch, hope it continues to grow"
I tried a bunch of different budgeting apps before choosing this one. Monarch was the only other one that came close, but this won out because it was more straightforward and easy to budget and honestly looks better. I know app developers probably get tips all the time, but my two cents that I’d love to suggest would be: 1. Please provide a way for the widget background to be white. :( I use it for my shopping category and it really bothers me that i can’t just make it white. 2. I know a bunch of people hate ai but I personally would definitely use and love an ai assistant like Monarch has to help me organize and think through things. 3. I kinda wish the category section would actually be named budget, but I wish far more that I could drag up and down the categories to reorganize them instead of them being stuck in that order. Same with my bank accounts. That also really bugs me. 
All in all, I really like and appreciate this app and plan to continue using it. I hope it continues to grow and improve.

Now I am actually growing in wealth for the first time in my life thanks to this app. It makes it feel possible and easy to see everything and actually know how much money I own across the board and easy to keep track of my investments and know when to buy or sell and how much I have in extra accounts like savings, vacation, high yield savings, and more. Becoming rich actually feels possible at 23 now lol. I also found out from this app I had an extra $1300 sitting around in a Charles Schwab account.
