Application must be upgrade. Very slow And we should have see our olders reviews too. But its limited to 20. Or we should get some link where we can see older review

It’s so rude to block accounts for money without any notification in advance.

Let me tell you something about this app!! I registered long time ago. 2 years ago I have decided to delete my account ,so I did and I have received confirmation email about that. I live abroad for 2,5 years,The bank card that I have used to register belongs to my homeland. So I used that card for savings etc. Now I back in home ,got bank statements and I had to find out that COUCHSUFRING IS STILL CHARGING ME. But my account no longer available so I can’t even log in. I reached out for help to receive my refund… no answer yet!

Before you spend a penny on this app read this The worst customer service and the worst experience. Let me tell you what happened with me, I am a paid and a verified user with number of reviews on my account,I also organise a number of free weekly events though cs for my local community, today suddenly I get notified my account is suspended. I emailed the to know why and their response was basically “fu@*k offf use another app” they claim I have more than 1 account on the app which is impossible as I am only using 1 and have never logged out of it and even if by rare chance I had some old account that I don’t use I think it’s fair to say it’s an inactive account. So before you spend a penny on this scam of an app remember you are better off using Facebook.

Literally nobody uses this app anymore but you can only see that after you paid for their mandatory monthly subscription. Biggest scammers ever.

It’s incredibly outrageous if I can not reach my previous actions without paying. There is no way to open my conversations, check the datas or anything. I’m not sure if it’s even legal. But ok I pay for it. And after that there is a bug which makes impossible to send a message to anyone. It worked for a while but not now. I always have to go to the website if I want to send a message or answer to someone. So be thinking about this and shame on you.

Just like how others say: have to pay to enter my profile which is more than unacceptable. The community was getting worse year by year as it became more popular but the current situation has made it even more horrible. Honestly say I dont recommend it at all.

I ve member of CS for 6 years, during this time i hosted travellers like 80 times. So i could say i was an active member and i help for this community a lot. Today i was looking for one of my previous surfer contacs and i just faced that i HAVE TO pay for checking my old messages. This is unacceptable im verified member for years (maybe its expired - i was not able to travel in this year like so many) but it was outrageous that i contribute a lot for that community and now all of the sudden you want me to pay for it - again. Also few days ago i suggested to my friend in London to sign up for this app, and use the hangouts, cauz i had a lot of great experiences. She also faced with that its not a free community anymore... but also her mail account got spammed with many mails, where she was invited for dating etc. by other users, and she cannot delete her account unless if she pay for it. 100% disgusting.

I has been part of couchsurfing for 8 years. However on the last month they decided to charge a fee without any communication. Even I was a member for a while, all my data are there and I cannot access without paying. It’s not about the money only, it’s that CS managers lost the value of the CS community. I’m quite disappointed.
