As a Couchsurfing host, my account, which I have used to host over 40 people, suddenly disappeared without any email notification. After reaching out to your customer service, I found their response extremely disappointing. 1. Without my confirmation, my account and email were modified. Who gave your support team the authority to alter data without customer approval during email communication? 2. The handling of the situation was very poor, and your customer service team was extremely unprofessional. They failed to address several key questions I raised, often responding with a dismissive “I understand.” I can't imagine how they would handle a genuine security issue. 3. Many hosts are facing similar situations: even those with over a hundred hosting experiences report on forums that it takes more than a week to recover their accounts when they are suddenly lost. Since 2020, your team has started charging fees for everyone, yet I see no improvement in your service. Instead, there's an evident arrogance towards long-time users. Keep this up, and you'll drive away all passionate hosts.

何度認証用のメールの送信操作をしてもメールが届かない。そのせいで機能もろくに使えず、240円を捨てたのと一緒。最低最悪のアプリ

すごくいいアプリです。

月額料金を支払い、プロフィールを作成後、一度アプリを閉じたらログインできなくなった。メールアドレスが使用されていますとの表示で、アカウントを新たに作ることも不可能。表示された管理のメールアドレスに英語で問い合わせても応答なし。お金だけ吸い取られました。気をつけて。

I just made my account. But I didn't find it's paid plan. It's difficult to know it. I have to pay 66 dollar for this app although I didn't use it! Please refund my money.

It's a perfect app for travelers and people who can't travel but want to meet new people. Thanks to this couch surfing, I met a lot of people, and I was able to call my friends all over the world. The people you meet are very hospitality and open-minded, so it will be a wonderful memory. However, there are 3 points that I want you to improve. The 1 point is that I want you to add the cancellation of sending messages. You can cancel sending messages on Instagram, but you can't do it with this app. I want you to be able to cancel sending messages because you will be careful if you send the wrong content. The 2 point is that I want you to be able to edit the details of the picture in the profile column. If you upload it once, you won't be able to edit it, and it will take a lot of time and effort not to raise it again. The 3 point is that I want you to create an intermediary system when you suddenly can't get in touch with the host who sent me with the accept. I had it accepted in advance, but there have been a few times in the past month that I haven't heard back on the day of the meeting. Couchsurfing was an awesome app. Unfortunately, by forcing people to pay for the app, many left it. I cannot even login to my account to see or remove my old pictures. This is really unacceptable.

First of all, I loved this service. But today, application asked me to pay money. It was fine for me and I was willing to pay for that. After I payed by using Apple Pay, application asked me to logout and logging in again because my account was made by Facebook not by apple account. Because of that I was just taken my money and my purchase wasn’t reflected on my account. It was totally annoying me and I was terribly sad for this.

以前は基本的に無料で、有料の本人認証をすることでリクエストを送る制限がなくなったり信用を得ることができました。 コロナになり、月額制になりました。メリットは特に感じませんし、年間で1250円（払ったはずだが払ってないことになってる）かかるようになった影響 か人が減りましたし、新規も増えないと思います。

They ask you to pay straight away before even have a chance to look at the app and how does it works. Moreover, they will email you every single day for some stuff that I never opened so I don’t know what are about. Seems like this pay thing is because of coronavirus, but still, it makes no sense to make people pay for something they never tried.
