I think that you ruins the principles of Couchsurfing by forcing people to pay. It should be my own decision to donate money.

Five stars for the initiative, and for connecting me with all the amazing people I’ve met and hosted on here. One time I stayed with someone in Boston, I didn’t have enough money for rent. So I prayed about it, and that night I had a dream where someone introduced themselves as Simona (had a name tag in the dream) The next day on Couch surfing I asked to stay with someone named S.C.After she agreed to host me I asked her real name and it was really Simona!! She let me stay with her for the whole 6 week school program.She was incredibly kind and helped me save thousands of dollars in rent money. Had an issue with the payment though.I’ve signed up for both the monthly and the yearly payment, and it’s still not working to get back on the app.Maybe it just takes a while for the payment to be registered.I tried to ask customer service but did not get in touch with them. We ended up having to buy a hotel for the night. Edit: 3 months later It seems like the payment is now registered. I got in with no problem

First I payed for a year because I’m broke and need a way to sleep and a safe stay. But after I payed for the year they wanted me to “verify “ me and then that cost me 70euro.. I might be in the wrong here but now I’m without food because of this..

Please fix it. CS app in IOS is not working

Couchsurfing is still the best thing has happened in this world! That was that thing gave me and million others the chance to meet new people to be able to travel on budget! THANK YOU!
