I just love that this app puts together a lot of cool, nice, humble and great people!

When CS started to ask money for hosts many of them stopped hosting people. So it got very difficult to really find someone who would host you.

A very nice platform to meet travelers, travel on a budget, and finding a place for free (you have to give back for your hosts like cooking a meal for them). I’d definitely recommend it!

Many features are missing in the app like being able to view groups, and feature events, etc. which require more than the app to fully be able to use this good platform.

I know covid was rough for everyone but your app is horrible now. I can’t updated my profile even if the app is updated and I paid my annual subscription. It’s freezing and lagging all the time and that one reason why I pressed by mistake for lifetime verification which I didn’t want it. By pressing multiple time on the screen because nothing is working I basically paid for something I didn’t want it with face recognition and you don’t even answer to my tickets to get my money back and solve the app issues. I can’t turn on my “open for hangouts” because errors keep coming and I basically can use it at all. I don’t care about your no refund policy when I paid for something that I didn’t want it just because your app isn’t working. You are extremely rude for not even answering to my email.

Hello First of all Please can you recheck cause couschsurfing app is asking for the payment even though my subscription was renewed as i accepted the travellers and host them and also traveled and was hosted by others. Hosts are getting harder and harder to find because not everyone is willing to pay. And it is not even interesting to become experienced users to use and pay for the application. There are a lot of profiles that were just created and they didn't log in afterwards, and I assure you only because, 2nd world countries can't afford it.

No other way will give you a similar experience! Getting to know people and traveling without risking to be scammed.

I understand its a recurring payment, but there is no option on their interface to cancel the recurring payment. And you don’t get and monthly emails with the invoice (like you get from other companies). In my case I discovered it by checking my monthly balance, two months after I thought I canceled my account. Apparently you have to cancel this only trouch support, which I believe it is very dishonest towards users and clients. So if you subscribed be very careful when you cancel otherwise you will discover months later that you payed for something you didn’t even used. Couchsurfing that’s dishonest ☹️
