Toronto includes separate Marathon and Half marathon routes. Switch races, explore the course and available terrain profile, and save separate runner plans. New installs open Toronto Waterfront by default; your saved course choice is retained. Study the Toronto Marathon and Half Marathon before race day, including the turns and the line between them. Our routes use official race maps and street data to show an estimated running line. Follow the marked course and race-day instructions. Enter your runner’s actual start time and expected pace or finish time. See estimated arrival windows at viewing spots, whether to stay or move, and when to leave. Enter a sighting to update the estimate. Toronto includes race-day access and start-corral guidance. Chicago includes eight viewing opportunities and a static CTA rail reference. Open Apple Maps or Google Maps for walking or transit directions to a viewing access point. Maps routes can cross closed roads or restricted race areas: check official crossings, viewing access and current service with the organizer and on-site staff. Course Atlas does not supply closure-aware routes or live runner tracking. Recommendations require a fresh, accurate location near a supported viewing approach and confirmation of legal sidewalk access. Between those approaches, recommendations are unavailable. Walking allowances are unverified planning estimates. Finish viewing requires valid access. Plans use the times and sightings you enter, rather than race tracking data. Zoom and pan an Apple Maps basemap, inspect estimated kilometre or mile markers, choose Metric or Imperial units, and optionally match your location to nearby course points. Your runner setup and nearby-course matching stay on your device. No account is required. Course and terrain data are included; Apple Maps needs available or cached map data. Transit references do not include live service information. Course Atlas is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by race organizers or CTA. Routes, including Toronto Half’s independently assembled approximate line, and distance markers are not intended for race-day navigation, exact splits or progress tracking. Elevation coverage varies: missing or unsupported spans remain disconnected. Profiles are not surveyed road-deck elevation and do not claim total climb. Data provided by Chicago Transit Authority.
