Play Cutthroat Pinochle online against real people or offline against AIs.
Cutthroat is a popular Pinochle variation for three players. Unlike most partnership Pinochle games, Cutthroat pits each player against one another, every man for himself. It’s a fast-paced, highly competitive, and very strategic card game, requiring careful planning, good memory and discipline.
In this game, you can play online against real people or choose between 8 computer opponents, each with different skill levels and unique styles of playing. Each player is dealt 15 cards with 3 cards dealt face-down to the widow. Players bid after initial cards are dealt and the high bidder combines the widow cards to potentially form a stronger hand, then discarding the three weakest cards.
As of this release there are 10 options to customize game play to user preferences:
Number of Decks: Single|Double
Sound Effects: On|Off
Game Speed: Normal|Fast|Slow
Undo Button: On|Off
Must bid to win: On|Off
Minimum Trick Points: 0|1|2
Minimum Bid: 15|20|25
Bid Increment: 1|2|3
Point to Win: 75|100|150
Must Throw Higher Card: On|Off|Trumps
Must have marriage in trump: On|Off
Winner if multiple players make winning score

Fix needed

I just played a game where the bidder did not get any tricks with pointers and won the game! That is wrong you have to at least score a point in the runoff to win the game. I love this game but that needs to be fixed!

Impolite opponents

I am frustrated when playing online and my opponents just stop playing when they see they can’t win the game. This makes the whole game stop due to an announced “error,” so the winner of the game never gets the credit for the “win.”

This freezes when you almost about to win the game. How convenient. That’s crazy. It’s almost like people have a way to do this. Makes feel like your wasting your time. SMH

Locks up

This used to be my favorite pinochle app. However, of late it locks up five or six tricks into the hand. Needs to be fixed.

The app is not working at... scoring is completely off. I’ve tolerated temporary scoring glitches and other things but it’s time for a complete overhaul ASAP

Points

A couple of times the meld wasn’t counted right on this game they make you go over the card that was played when the person in front of me trumped in I’ve always played the game where you have to always go over a card played in front of you if possible is that a setting to adjust I had double kings and double queens in the same hand , with a rope ,pinochle the count was 173 seems a lot low
