When calculating fertility for pregnancy with natural family planning, Cycles takes advantage of scientific research that’s more accurate than the 'rhythm method' of yesteryear and has a real-world failure rate comparable to that of condoms. Even so, this app is designed for informational purposes only and should not be used to prevent pregnancy.
If you choose to unlock Cycles Premium, your purchase will be charged to your iTunes account. Active subscriptions will be auto-renewed 24 hours before the expiry date. You can manage subscriptions from Account in iTunes after subscribing, you’ll also be able to cancel the auto-renewing subscription from there at any time. Any unused portion of the free trial period will be forfeited if you purchase a subscription to Cycles Premium before your trial expires.

This app is great and accurate. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because I do find it a bit hard to navigate. Especially when your period is late and you forget to register the actual first day. Little hard to set the actual period day. But other than that it’s awesome. I really enjoy the I can share the app with my husband and we can track my ovulation together.

What about Perimenopause?

I’ve been using this app since 2017 to track my wildly irregular period and perimenopause symptoms. It’s been very helpful for that. What I really love is that I can easily track how far I potentially am to menopause. The problem is that now that my period stops showing up from time to time (which is a totally expected thing), the app keeps asking me if I’m pregnant. There should be a setting to indicate possible menopause rather than than pregnancy. What would be awesome is a notification and celebration when I hit Day 365 of my cycle. You’ve still got time, Devs. Make it happen 😀

I have the free version. It’s good because it tells you when PMS is predicted for which is better than cycle tracking in Apple health which doesn’t tell you when PMS is. Symptom List should be expanded.
