Zero updates have been released for DarkReader for Safari iOS for a full year, and many websites are in need of fixes. On the other hand, Dark Reader for desktop constantly updates and addresses website issues. However, on iOS, it lacks regular updates and fails to address website fixes. It is worth noting that Noir, the competitor application, is highly dedicated to improving the application and spends significant time fixing faulty websites.

This is by far the best dark theme app. It works fantastic 99% of the time. My one complaint is that I can’t submit feedback when a site doesn’t work. There are a handful of sites that I just can’t read anything on unless this is disabled. Please allow feedback!

Still have white flashes when navigating websites. Happens 100% of the time opening any web link on X to safari.

I just got this two days ago but so far works great

This extension is great with Safari but I find myself manually changing it. I just which this could sync up with phone display set up and automatically switch from day to night.

I noticed that the desktop extension recently got theme presets including Dracula. iOS/Safari already has presets but none of them are Dracula. In addition, specifying a custom theme is inadequate because there is no place to enter a hex for the color. Can a hex input field be added?

Not working anymore

Not working on Safari anymore, very inconsistent.

I use Dark Reader on Chrome on desktop and it works extremely well and I rarely have any issues with website formatting. That’s not the case for the iOS version, and very often I'm stuck with a white background and white text on a website, making it completely unreadable. This puts sudden strain on my eyes at night time, and it’s not something which I can look past. The main function of this app is semi broken.
