Dark Reader for Safari

Somehow DarkReader makes websites very slow to load. It can take up to 4 seconds before a websites loads with DarkReader turned on. It’s not only here. I also experience this on FireFox. Performance is a issue this days for DarkReader.

More websites not working anymore. Like 90% is not dark mode anymore.

Everything is suddenly “inverted”, Dark Reader makes websites white when i ENABLE dark mode on my iPad. Dark theme selected. Disabling the extension fixes the issue. (And no, i have not enabled Smart Invert in accessibility settings.) Happens on all websites…

It works 9 out of 10 times but the price is honestly too high. It’s free on every other platform but on iOS it costs 5 euro’s.. Reduce it to €0,99 and a lot more people will buy this app/extension. If you use Dark Reader on all of your devices it is worth the money but otherwise I would just go with an alternative, free option. Edit: Not working on DHL site. Google flashes white/black..

Using it on MacBook Pro and on my iPhone 12 and it works great on both. It’s customizable and it doesn’t break the user interface of the websites I visited. You definetely get value for your money.

This is by far the best dark theme app. It works fantastic 99% of the time. My one complaint is that I can’t submit feedback when a site doesn’t work. There are a handful of sites that I just can’t read anything on unless this is disabled. Please allow feedback!

Still have white flashes when navigating websites. Happens 100% of the time opening any web link on X to safari.

I just got this two days ago but so far works great

This extension is great with Safari but I find myself manually changing it. I just which this could sync up with phone display set up and automatically switch from day to night.

I noticed that the desktop extension recently got theme presets including Dracula. iOS/Safari already has presets but none of them are Dracula. In addition, specifying a custom theme is inadequate because there is no place to enter a hex for the color. Can a hex input field be added?
