App costs money, then requires subscription to use the features shown in the photos. Misleading and deceitful. Finally found an app that looked like it would work well for me, spent $10 and can’t even use it for what I want. I want a refund.
overpriced garbage
The 4 push notification usage alerts that come with the paid (but not pro subscription version) don’t work. These usage alerts are the reason why I paid money for the app, so this is unfortunate.
Needed help tracking annual prepaid data allowance but the basic version (paid) only accommodates monthly plans. Upgraded to the subscription trial but the most the custom period can accomodate is 180 days. Have cancelled my subscription and request a refund. Doesn’t suit my needs.
Does the job but to get the small widget, I have to pay yearly. Well no thanks, just gonna delete the app then. Maybe as a one off but for $15 a year? Nope.
I purchased a lifetime subscription to the previous Dataman Pro (with black icon). The app developer then stopped updating it and hung all the previous purchasers out to dry by releasing updates as a new app with EXACTLY THE SAME NAME (just a red icon). Would advise against purchasing this app.
Not very happy that I paid to download the app and then was asked to pay a monthly fee to use the features I wanted. Subscriptions should only be included in apps that can be downloaded for free, or to further extended an already fully featured paid app. I will be refunding once the 7 day “free”-trial of premium expires. I would happily pay for a subscription for an app like this if it was honest about it upfront. It would be nice to see more features added for metered WiFi networks (such as percentage of plan used by device, warnings etc), as it’s currently designed predominantly for cellular data.
You get only minimal functionality with your purchase, anything useful requires subscription.
Suckered. No way I’m paying monthly for badge icon. Not happy.
