As an educated consumer, it's important to know to whom you're listening. DBT Diary Card was created by a Ph.D. psychologist trained directly by Dr. Marsha Linehan and at the Duke University Medical Center; we are experts in DBT, providing consultation to many in our community. - Skills. LOTS of them. Every DBT skill you've ever heard about in a group is in here. It can be your quick reference to your skills so that you don't have to carry around your book or binder. Every skill is described in readable language to help you understand them easily and it's all just a quick tap away.

- Emotions. All the "basic" emotions are presented, again with descriptions and explanations a quick tap away.

- Behaviors. The most troublesome are pre-loaded.

- Coaching. If you know you need to use a skill but can't think of which one or can't remember how to choose, use the app. The coaching can be your virtual therapist. 

- Complete customizability. Are you working on something different or do you have a different understanding of a particular skill or emotion? Change it. It's that easy. You are not wedded to the way it's presented in the app. It's all completely customizable.

- 911 skills.  Put your emergency skills a tap away. You can call directly from the app, listen to your distress tolerance music, remember what apps help in the moment. 

- Email. You can email your therapist your diary card on a weekly basis automatically, you can do it manually whenever you'd like or you can have the app remind you.

Just bought this app for the start of my DBT course tomorrow after heavily debating on whether or not I wanted to pull the trigger on buying this app or just rough my diary cards out manually, I literally cant use it. The app crashes within a split second of me tapping on it to open it so I unfortunately cant even use it and wasted the money. Really sad that this isnt working for me and was hoping it would take some stress off of this process but unfortunately not. Im sure it would be great if I could use it, but even the support page takes me to a 404 error popup when you tap the link for "App Support."

This app is NOTHING like it appears in the App Store.  I could find no way to use any of the features that it showed were included.  Don’t waste your money. Even $5.00ish is too much to spend.

The best feature of this app is the ability to export a PDF report to share with your therapist. It removes the need to manually log a Diary Card. 
The second best feature is the summary of the tools at your fingertips. 

The greatest challenge with this app is that it seems to function only one day at a time. In order for your data to record accurately, you have to repetitively press log after completing each section and after saving your note - close the app- and reopen to do log on another day.

I paid $5 for this app because it was recommended by the therapy center I go to and the app keeps crashing when I try to click on anything. I emailed support, but when I went to visit their website that is listed in the app settings, it redirects me to a website that is obviously not for the app—I think it’s an Indonesian website for video games or something.
