The App does all you want to track your spending and data can be exported should you wish to do your own reports in excel. It’s so easy to use and I couldn’t do without it

Really good, just what i was looking for. Import csv, categorise and analyse. On mac version you can filter add categories and assign.

Edit: Updated to 4* after response below. However developer does need to update his documentation as instructions say both need to have a premium subscription I actually like this app, have paid for the subscription and was set to make it my finance app of choice, its just if you want to share it with your partner it really falls down. I could totally live with the limitation on who edits the data etc, but the fact that you both have to pay for a premium version for even this pared down sharing option seems crazy. If there was proper family sharing of the paid version this would be the app for me. For now, the hunt for a decent iOS finance/budgeting app continues.

Every day, bank accounts, money on deposit with energy companies, bank notes in foreign currencies are mirrored in Debit & Credit. I may not be rich but every penny is accounted for; nothing goes awry for long. I have an insight into future net worth: 2, 3, 10 years ahead. Budgeting is easy and I know when I can and can't spend. I've forgotten what life was like before Debit & Credit came along.

Worst accounts app I have used, and I have used a few. Awful layout, unable to see clearly account activity over coming months. Also refused to refund my £19.99. Account Tracker app much superior and cheaper.

I’ve been using D&C for more than six years. In that time it has provided everything I need of a finance tracker. It does what it does exceptionally well, and steers clear of the things that bogs down many apps, such as bank integration. The premium edition (iOS and MacOS integration) is smart and straightforward. And Ivan’s support is the best.

I have tried several similar apps over the years and I have finally found the one that is perfect for my needs. It is simple, logical and does the job beautifully. I should also add that developer response is spot on with prompt, helpful advice and answers to questions raised. I bought another app by the same developer many years ago, and this support is always reliable and consistent. Highly recommended. 👏👏

I would appreciate improvements made to the transaction layout when using custom settings. Currently, when choosing to always display the description, category, payee, tags and notes, they are only separated by commas. It would be nice if they had their own dedicated section in the display.

I don’t usually write reviews but had to this time as I am so impressed with this app. At first it takes a while to input category data and set up the accounts and regular transactions. Once that is done, transactions are intuitive, quick and easy to enter and reconciliation of bank statements is a breeze. Reports are instant and fascinating to see. I have the Premium version and my husband is using the free version for now. We can both add transactions to the same account and work seamlessly with the app on our iPads and iPhones. Reassuringly everything is backed up automatically to iCloud. The more you use this app the more you will find ways of personalising it to make sure it does exactly what you need. If I could think of one improvement, it would be the option of a soothing pastel choice in addition to the existing colour schemes :)

Been using this for a number of years now. Had a few issues in the past and found technical support immediate and very good. Simple to use, syncs reliably - between iPad, iphone and Mac.
