Remove BG Eraser

This is definitely the best finance app for my needs and in general I love it. However I’m frustrated by two aspects. The running total needs to be made much clearer. The corresponding MacOS app is horrible. Maybe I shouldn’t be criticising that here but part of the reason I’m using this app is its seamless integration between desktop and mobile.

This is by far the best and most useful app I have on my phone. I could not keep track of my finances without it and it’s super easy to use. The developer Ivan is a top bloke and is very quick to reply to any questions and very helpful.

This is a great piece of software. It’s clearly been built with love and attention. I tried many of the personal finance tools out there, but they tended to break down as I’m someone who lives across multiple banks accounts, some of which have different spaces within them etc. Takes some time to get set up, especially if you have more complicated needs. Having set my scheduled payments up, and scheduled transfers with my accounts, it’s pretty brilliant to be able to see projected account balances out into the future. Getting on top of my finances is a goal for 2025 and this app is going to be a key part of that. I’m reticent to make this suggestion, because it’s been the downfall of some of the other apps on the space I tried to use, however if carefully integrated I would love some Open Banking integrations. E.g. to assist with new transactions, and the mapping of approximated scheduled transactions with what settles to my account, or even just to validate account balances. I’d pay extra for this functionality and pay quite handsomely. As it is - it represents fantastic value for money.

Been using this app for about 2 years now. Used to use Microsoft money on a computer till it crashed. Looked at, and tried 10 or more accounting type apps and none seemed quite right for me. Found this one and after a few weeks committed and bought the full version (£9.99 a year) all credit debit and saving’s accounts in one place standing orders and regular payments all in one place with pending or cleared or all payments in view. I have waited to give a review as I wanted to make sure it was everything I needed. Some bits I don’t use like budgets and reports but I am sure they would be useful if I wanted to use them. So all in all this app is fantastic for me. If you are still scratching around for an app to use to keep an eye on you finances then I suggest try this, don’t think you will be disappointed.

Moved to this from YNAB and haven’t looked back.

The App does all you want to track your spending and data can be exported should you wish to do your own reports in excel. It’s so easy to use and I couldn’t do without it

Really good, just what i was looking for. Import csv, categorise and analyse. On mac version you can filter add categories and assign.

Edit: Updated to 4* after response below. However developer does need to update his documentation as instructions say both need to have a premium subscription I actually like this app, have paid for the subscription and was set to make it my finance app of choice, its just if you want to share it with your partner it really falls down. I could totally live with the limitation on who edits the data etc, but the fact that you both have to pay for a premium version for even this pared down sharing option seems crazy. If there was proper family sharing of the paid version this would be the app for me. For now, the hunt for a decent iOS finance/budgeting app continues.

Every day, bank accounts, money on deposit with energy companies, bank notes in foreign currencies are mirrored in Debit & Credit. I may not be rich but every penny is accounted for; nothing goes awry for long. I have an insight into future net worth: 2, 3, 10 years ahead. Budgeting is easy and I know when I can and can't spend. I've forgotten what life was like before Debit & Credit came along.
