Deepstash: Smarter Every Day!

IMO, content in this app is commonplace. But this is subjective. What’s objective instead is that to unlock the full features you will be paying >40€/quarter. Pro only partially unlocks the full offering, and this is not explained anywhere. I deleted the account after finding out about this and I still get charged! This is complete madness. I am a product manager myself, and I never seen such a scam from both product and subscription standpoint.

Google says the company is definitely closed. There is no way to contact the helpdesk nor an email address where to write. I immediately went to a pro subscription that now is almost impossible to cancel. The App is basically a choice of summarised books or podcasts. It has nothing to do with scrolling like Instagram or TikTok. No videos. No curated content for you. You are presented with a list of books and you just click on those for which you want a quick version. marketing it is a replacing Scrolling with an alternative is definitely wrong

I love this all, I’m a PRO user, but please fix the bug where the app crash when you open a read from the inner notification of the app!

I’ve been using Deepstash for a while now, and I find it incredibly useful. Unlike traditional social media, which often feels like a time sink, Deepstash actually adds value to my day. Every time I open the app, I learn something new. The content is well-curated, and the insights are concise yet impactful. It’s a refreshing change from scrolling through endless posts without gaining anything meaningful. Honestly, it’s way better than any social media platform because it genuinely adds value to your life. Highly recommend giving it a try✨

I love the concept of the app, and I think it’s great! The idea of switching social media and doom scrolling with actual useful reading is so cool I’d love to use it everyday. However: the app won’t let me. Literally most of the features for a standard app is hidden behind a paywall. Why lock the save feature behind a paywall? I think that’s just a bad business decision. But fine, let’s see the prices. Maybe it won’t be too expensive! 90 euros a year. With 90 euros, you can literally buy so many paper books at a library, or a second hand kindle if you want to read digitally. If I wanted summaries, I could use any AI, or internet article about said book. And even if I tried to get by with the free version, the advertisements are even more annoying. Discount here, buy this, get that there, limited time only. All of these unfortunately lend a bad execution to a good concept. Allow free users to use more of the app and lock features that are truly extra behind the paywall. If you need the money, use advertisement in the reading itself, that way the app can be more accessible to more people.

The app is nice and the idea is good. I would love to use it BUT the downsides are SO annoying I just want to delete it after 5 min. The app is so pushy to make you pay, every minute some message comes out that you need to pay (not going to happen, I can find the same summaries for free on the internet or any ai). It’s also crazy expensive. After I visualized 2-3 summaries there is a block and I have to watch some advertising. It just makes no sense to use it. Sad, it could have been one of my favorites.

This is the most pushy I've ever seen an app promote their premium version! Couldn't even start looking at the app and I already got shown the offer three times. It kept going, via email, via notification and of course on the app. I had to uninstall as it was getting annoying. The app wasn't bad tho but not the best either. I read through multiple topics and found the posts to be very superficial. Most of them were just common knowledge or extremely easy concepts. It felt like a waste of time

Come tutte le altre app identiche, ti fanno fare un lungo form, per poi fare un finto calcolo, e ti chiedono soldi a sorpresa. Se l’avessero fatto vedere prima quanto costava avrei evitato di scaricare l’app

Davvero tanti spunti interessanti

Siamo di fronte all’esecuzione di un concept migliore che io abbia mai visto in tantissimi anni. Questa app è talmente ben strutturata e dosata che rasenta la perfezione. UX/UI, selezione del contenuto e gamification rasentano la perfezione. Ne ho provate a centinaia di questo genere, ma mai nessuna è mai riuscita a tenermi dentro nemmeno lontanamente come questa. Davvero, se avessi i devs li abbraccerei. Bravi! 🥇 P.s. può sembrare che questa sia una review finta o pagata, ma assicuro di no. Provare per credere!
