Sie erlaubt das Aufzeichnen von Routen (Wege die man zurücklegt), so dass man diesen später sehr einfach erneut folgen kann, oder auch den Rückweg wieder findet. Die App zeigt über einen großen Kompass die Himmelsrichtungen an, sowie die Richtung zu beliebig vielen anderen Orten, die man in der App speichert. Man bekommt ebenfalls die Koordinaten dieser Orte und die aktuellen Entfernungen angezeigt. Der Kompass unterstützt zwei Modi. Der eine Modus zeigt eher Informationen eines traditionellen Kompass mit aktueller Himmelsrichtung sowie die Richtung als Gradangabe. Der zweite Modus zeigt statt dessen eine Karte im Hintergrund, die sich mit dem Kompass mit dreht und deren Mitte die Nutzerposition darstellt. Die Route wird als Pfad auf der Karte angezeigt, was es einfach macht, Routen zu folgen, bzw. den Weg zurück zu finden. Man muss nur dem Pfad folgen und diesen in der Mitte halten. Die App kann die Orte auch auf einer Karte anzeigen. Die App unterstützt "Live-Aktivitäten" (iOS 16.1 und neuer) und kann somit den Kompass mitsamt den Richtungsinformationen zu allen Orten in der Dynamic Island (iPhone 14 Pro) und auf dem Sperrbildschirm anzeigen, so dass diese Informationen auch dann verfügbar sind, wenn man sich nicht in der App selbst befindet. Die App auf dem iPhone unterstützt auch Voice-Over (Bedienungshilfe) für Blinde und sehbehinderte Nutzer. Die Watch-App zeigt ebenfalls den Kompass mitsamt Richtung und Entfernung zu allen gespeicherten Orten, genau wie die iPhone-App. Die App ist dabei sehr Datenschutzfreundlich, denn sie sammelt keinerlei Daten (kein Tracking), beinhaltet keine Werbung, es gibt kein Abo, keine versteckten Kosten. ## Direkto Screenshots -
