Client doesn’t have the ability to change notification sounds - something which should be integrated with iOS settings. It’s not possible to choose a tone that works for everyone. Set a sensible default, then trust users that need changes to make them. Service is otherwise deeply flawed (see their opinions on privacy for a start) but that’s a bigger conversation than app reviews.
Discord is a really good place to text and talk

Love discord and works great on the computer. However the ios app has a few long standing bugs, and they have made it harder to see who in your channels are online. One of the most annoying bugs are that some channels are randomly marked as unread, even if there have been no new messages in years, and it seems to be local on the device and not on the account. But still after a few years there is no fix for it :(
While the app makes sure all chat is kept up to date, it fails to post any messages that I try to send. Looked it up - it’s simply the app failing.

Me and my friend CANT take our cameras on, and everytime we try, discord just closes
Since the latest update I can no longer turn on video in a private call / channel on my phone. My phone is an iPhone 15 pro max with the latest update. I’ve tried uninstalling discord, turning the phone off etc. I know several other people are affected by it too. This is one of the main things I do on discord so it’s a bit disappointing to see that after many reports, and over a week, that nothing has been fixed. It works FINE on MacBook and desktop, it is purely the iPhone app.
