DISH Anywhere

Ever since the update, I cannot open the DISH Anywhere. I get error 2025. I don’t have time to call and figure out what the problem is! Bring back the old version so that it works.

Hate this service and product. What does it add more advertising to your recorded shows? Do they like the extra revenue- even if it screws the viewer? It’s simple. They hate their customers! Why else are they going broke?

Seems every Saturday we loose satellite service for a minimum of one hour ridiculous

I take my IPad to work and on my lunch I can catch up on my recorded shows or live TV on my Dish Anywhere app ! Can’t live without it! I even take my phone in the shower and watch the recorded or live Shows in there !😁Part of my life !

Such a treat to be able to watch some of my favorite movies and recordings outside in my screen house….the best part of my summer is having this availability…thank you for this special treat!

When are you going to fix the remote so it actually works? Try and do something and minutes later it happens.

Dish offered to lower my bill through Rocket Money. Without my knowledge, this resulted in a 2-year contract renewal that I never agreed to. When I reached out to Dish, they were unhelpful and insisted I pay $500 to get out of the contract. This experience has left me extremely unhappy and disappointed. I expected better transparency and customer service. I do not recommend using their bill reduction service.

OK, so since I am unable to write a review from the App Store on my Apple TVs user interface for the now available DISH Anywhere app, I will write a review for it here. I’m not sure when this app finally became available for Apple TV but it had to of been within the last 12 months I suppose, I recently recall doing extensive forum dives online seeking to determine how many people were irritated by the fact that the app was not available on Apple TV yet available on iPhones and iPads and Mac OS. That said, I am glad that it is finally available however functionality on Apple TV compared to app functionality on my iPhone differs in confusing and exasperating ways. My main gripe? Why am I able on my iPhone to live stream any channel that I have current subscription access to, but on the Apple TV app there are only a small handful of channels which I am able to live stream. Case and point, MSNBC. I am able to live stream MSNBC on my iPhone and iPad and android devices, however, live stream functionality for MSNBC is nonexistent on the Apple TV DISH Anywhere app. I would fully expect comparable functionality between each of the devices. After all, I am paying for the content availability through my dish subscription. Now, perhaps this is just a resulting bug or inoperability oversight due to the fact that the Apple TV app has only recently been released. I fully expect this issue to be rectified and as soon as possible. As dish customers, we tolerated an awful lot and demonstrated a ridiculous amount of good faith when the major data breach and subsequent loss of service occurred months ago. No one was offered compensation of any kind. No bills were offered pro rating for loss of service. I’m assuming that the IT and software development and cyber security teams went through a drastic cleansing and refresh after that incident so assuming that, one can also assume that there should be many more capable hands on board. So let’s please get it together and fix these live streaming issues on Apple TV. As a sidenote, it would really be a great thing. Also, if the DISH Anywhere app appeared within the new Apple TV submenu as well. If anyone requires clarification on what I mean by that, please I encourage whoever is monitoring these reviews to reach out to me. I am more than happy to elaborate as best I can to enhance the functionality of the Apple TV, DISH Anywhere app.
