Right to anyone that wants to use the subscriptions through this app, I’m warning you do not trust these guys, they will lure you into thinking you can enjoy the benefits through each subscription then when you get tired of the app and simply want to cancel and receive a refund, they’ll delay the process and take even up to a year of paying for the subscription to finally renew, they kept my subscription active even tho I cancelled through apple around the 11th of January and since then I have been trying to request for a refund however through apple support it hasn’t given me the option to request the refund through distrokid. I even renewed my subscription to prove a point and see if I could restore my account, that way I could easily get my refund but instead it said that I needed to find a subscription to restore my account despite the fact I had did that before!! This company is a scam and will do anything to take your money off you, I simply advise finding another distributor if you don’t want to be a victim of this matter.

Quick uploads and good for many things but once you have a problem that needs attention rage support is almost useless. Funds disappear from bank for no reason and they can’t help you

I have been using DistroKid for I believe over 3 years now and the first year was fine. I could make one withdrawal and not have a problem with receiving my money. Now I have been waiting over 1 AND A HALF YEARS for my money. I have made countless withdrawal requests and multiple email complaints and nothing is working. Not only do you not get your money but if you try to contact them they will just send you to this AI support thing called Dave. Like how is that good customer service. No one has contacted me and I’ve been watching my money go up and up over the past 1 and a half years. They are probably gaining interest off of it at the end of the day. The customer service is APPALLING, their support contact is ATROCIOUS and their reliability of keeping to contract is PATHETIC. Please don’t make the same mistake that I did and use a better distributer.

Much easier to use than other distributors. Easy to navigate the website. Very cool. Couldn’t be happier.

In terms of simply uploading music distrokid is very good and will distribute to the places you need. However just hope you don’t need any support. They have a 7-10 working day turn around (if you’re lucky) to respond to any query. Then on top of that you if you do respond it’s another 7-10 days. They can make it difficult to withdraw money - which is most artists cases will be very little (could just be a change in bank detail or in my case no reason) which is fair enough for security as you’d rather your money secure, if you could resolve that quickly. They’ve got rid of things like adding lyrics (unless you pay extra of course). I’ve not tried any other distributers to be honest - so on that note can’t compare but overall a mixed bag. For the average artist - it’s a good place to upload music, but just hope you don’t need any support at all.
