Recently used to help score a high school dive meet and didn't have the manual diving slide rule available. We used this as a substitute and it worked fairly well. It was a little cumbersome using the rotating dials to input the scores. Score input would have been a little quicker if there was a touch score pad. Not all dives (600 series) are listed so I don't know how useful it would be for a platform event. I would imagine it would also be difficult to use to score a diver if you're sitting in the stands and don't have paper and pencil available because it doesn't total for each diver from round to round. And I agree with others that it should have capability for a larger judge panel. Knocking out the highs and lows slows down the process.

This is such a nice app for calculating which dive is better to do. Either go with the higher dd or higher scores.

Had given this four stars, because it appeared that it only had three judges. Was just poking around in Settings.app and noticed that there are settings for Dive List, in which you can choose 3, 5, or 7 judges. Was about to up my original rating to 5 stars, but I can't see how changing the number of judges changes anything the app itself does. No matter whether you choose 3, 5, or 7, there are still only three judges … ?? This is a great interface, but it really needs the capability of entering all 5 or 7 judges, because they read them so fast that it's difficult to isolate the low and high scores AND remember the three you're supposed to keep. Otherwise, a great idea, and nice, simple interface (add in landscape rotation so you have room for 5/7 judges, and this thing is perfect).

I wished you had keep it the other way, because no I have to write down the 5 or 7 scores and knock the high and low before I can know which 3 scores to keep. This stinks.
