DMX Dip

Thanks, this app saved me quite some time on an install with dozens of fixtures with those pesky dip-switches. Of course i could have done binary calculations by head, but nothing beats going from device to device and copying the pattern. The +16 is handy too, since you can change the increment and just hop from fixture to fixture in long chains of identical fixtures. Less thinking, more doing.

Dip switches are hardly ever used any more in lighting, so fewer and fewer people know how to use them. So when a fixture or a DMX decoder is using dip switches, this app is a LIFESAVER. It helped me no end, where I didn’t need it for a long time, until I had to set up some LED strips and the decoders had dip switch DMX addresses. Then the app was amazing. This app is super easy to use, quick to understand, and SO handy in a pinch.

Does exactly what you need it to: calculate the dip switches for your fixtures but it constantly bugs you to upgrade. Ad supported, sure. It's free, can't complain about ads. But asking me every 5 mins to buy the app made me delete it.

If you hold down on the increment button, you can change it to another value! This is a handy app, made my life easier tonight so bought the ad-free upgrade!

..when your fixtures have DIPs. As time goes on, I use this app less and less because we don't see DIPs on the fixtures we install anymore. (chauvet, elation, etc) One the rare occasion I have to drop old ADJ led pars into a universe, I use this app!I I prefer DIPs over menu-driven up/down but nobody asked us

Do you ever use dip switches to set DMX channels? Do you hate doing math? Then I'm pretty sure this is the best app ever for you.

Simple DMX to to dip switch conversion. The +16 button is very useful. Thanks guys, great job. Makes my job more efficient and easy.
